Comments: Christi (CC): "This =
month has been a little difficult for
chapter members with theWW/NPO merger. We had a =
chapter Meeting on February
27, 2002, and Voted inMaggie Wanser for the new =
CC. I felt I could not do
my job do to other memberstaking it upon =
themselves. There also has been
actions that should be lookedinto within this =
chapter. Other then that this
chapter is slowly moving forwardonce again. I =
would like to congratulate
Maggie with taking p the position ofCC."
Luci (ACC): "It's been a busy =
month, personally and Camwise. I'm
currentlyworking on 4 differnt members audits and =
trying to get the website
updated yetagain. Currently holding off the big =

faculity member ofPima Community College to arrange =
to use a room on campus
for a site on a hopefulregular basis."

Comments: "The change of =
leadership within the Camarilla Fan Club caused
quite a stir this month, a number of things have =
changed...one of them being
membership numbers. Most of the members of the =
chapter were uncertain of
their new numbers, so I only placed those which I =
knew..."
Problems/Questions/Suggestions:
1) "I deleted a member from the =
membership roster to misinformation, the
said member never joined the fan club and when asked =
for his membership
number... he told me that he did not have one. =
He will not be asked to
return to game, until he joins the club."
2) "On the topic of joining the =
club, I have a number of pending
members... I know that the back log is to =
blame, not to mention the
reogranizationof the Fan Club. I sent a gift =
membership up for Carrie
Hodges, listed member #35 in the report, and just =
received my funds back
today... how would I be able to send her such a =
gift membership?"
3) "Could we get a list of the =
proper e-mail addy's for are regional
staff, since the closure of the lists I have lost =
track of most the right
people to contact... and if you know Kimiko, please =
thank her for all the
efforts she put forth in the past... or better yet, =
send her email address
to me." (ARC Note: Regional Staff =

Comments: "Members will all =

advancement: Matt Giezentaner
(2001-05-094) to MC5.
Last Domain meeting December 28; next =

Comments: "I did not have a =
domain meeting this month. I wanted the

replacment hierarchy and
settle in before introducting any new items. A =
poll was taken online in
regards to a name change."
Current projects:
1) SinCity/SWRE 2001:
"-Name Change. At the urging =
of our Promotions Chair Shane Defreest we
have added SinCity to the title. Shane feels =
that the name change was

http://travel.to/sincity.
3) "CST Jamie Homampour has decided =
to close the Vegas Stakes Sanctioned
Sabbat game in favor of a Troupe style Sabbat =
game.
Problems:
1) "Running into a few personality =
conflicts here and there. It happens
when you have a lot of strong personalities in one =
domain. I don't think
it's anything that a few extra social functions can't =
cure. I'm going to
triple my efforts in that area this month to see what =
I can accomplish."
2) "SinCityGhetto has suffered the =
loss of their ST Barry Robb. It has
seriously undermined the moral of their chapter. My =
understanding is that
they are going to vote in a new CST next week. Their =
Chapter report is late
due to computer problems. I have been made aware of =
it in advance."

with Domain Chapter List"

Questions:
1) "For those of us who took the =

organization, a motion was submitted and voted upon =
that the Domain is going
to donate (in a one-time-only, lump sum) amount to =
the Midsummer Faire
(which is going to get a non-profit number =
soon.) As soon as the Faire has
their number the exact amount of the donation will be =
decided upon by the
coordinators." DC reminded everyone that =
she is stepping down in June.
Current Projects: None at the present =
time.
Problems: "*Still waiting for =
a response on this one* =3D Prestige
recommendations for DST. To date I have =
received none. Should I just award
her what I think it should be, or should I wait for =
Pete's recommendation?
How about this one - If I don't hear back from this =
report, I'll just award
her what I think she deserves. ;) 10/01 =
addition =3D Since I didn't hear
back I'm awarding Erin Ruston the prestige that I =
think she deserves in this
report. Sorry about all the backdating.
"-----Okay, so I wait and wait and =
wait for a prestige recommendation for
the DST, then I give up and award her some, I'm told =
that I still have to
wait for the recommendation FIRST. WHEN is that =
going to happen? She's
planning on stepping down at the end of this month =
and I really would like
to give her SOME prestige for the entire time she's =
been our DST. Could
someone help me out with this?
"-----12/01 addition: So, =
Erin stepped down as of 1/1/02. I awarded her
some prestige a couple of reports ago. I still =
have no recommendations for
any prestige for her since she started about two =
years ago. So, unless I
hear to the contrary, I'm going to let her keep the =
prestige that I awarded
her. I know this was incorrect, but she's been =
waiting for years to get ANY
kind of prestige.
"-----01/02 addition: Working =
with Kevin, Corky and Sarah to try to get
this
solved.
"-----02/02 addition: Corky asked =
if Kevin had gotten back to me on this
one. I can't remember if he had or not - I =
assume not, cause then I would
have saved the email. Basically what I need is =
when (and if) Erin submitted
Storyteller reports. I know that if no report =
no prestige - but so far I've
only had her word on when she submitted them. =
So if there isn't going to be
a recommendation from the RST for her stint as DST, =
just when she submitted
reports would be handy."

Projects:
1) Domain will schedule four large-scale =
games/functions throughout the
year; the next one is tentatively scheduled for April =
and is gearing toward
Sabbat venue.
2) "We are looking for ways to not =
only make money for the domain but
interesting ways to spend it as well," e.g. bus =
charters to SWR events, etc.
3) [On hold] DC is working with DC =
of Black Magic Kingdom to create a
cross-Domain joint social and game/event. The =
feedback has been encouraging
so far.
4) [On hold] Membership drive campaign: =
"Bring a Friend" discount program
toward game fees, as detailed in last month's =
report.
5) New Domain Web site at =
www.d-losangeles.org is still in-process.
Problems/Comments/Questions:
1) "I've talked ot the Shadows of a =
Saint CC Sheldon Morley, and due to
personal issues he has informed me that he is =
ill-prepared and ready to
continue in the role of CC, I will be working with =
SoS and Sheldon in
finding a suitable replacement for him."
2) "I've been in communication with =
the RC about the Legends & Dreams
chapter, and she has come to an agreeable solution, I =
look forward to having
the whole matter over and done with."
WWCA-003: Phoenix House [Report late: =
03/05/02] Rating: Late, Fair
(ARC Note: CST in Ordeals =
Non-compliance; see Section 2 for details.)
Chapter has 11 members. Two (2) =
members nominated for Regional Prestige;
seven (7) members nominated for National =
Prestige. One (1) member is
pending MC advancement: Kyle Humfeld (9604-230) to =
MC12.
Last Chapter meeting: "none =
recently;" next Chapter meeting: "none
planned."
Current Projects: Working on =
getting everyone to transfer to WW
memberships, and collect new WW numbers. =
Charity drives continue, with some
actual donations this month. Game schedule =
continues.
Problems: "As a whole the =
Chapter is fairly annoyed with White Wolf for
the way they went about this hostile takeover, but =
mostly not so annoyed as
to let it stop us from participating in the Club at =
least at the local
level.
"Our website was hosted on =
vampire.tamu.edu, so of course its gone now.
Thanks, guys."
Questions: "Many questions as =
to the future of the club, but I suspect
there's few answers out there, so what's the =
point?
"Can we get the Tome and 5.1 (5.11) =
posted on a website somewhere? Does
WW even have the rights to them?
"Will WW provide us webspace for =
Chapter Websites?
"Will WW be putting a membership DB =
on line akin to the myCam DB, which
had some real promise before it was yanked?
"What about a ST Application DB? SW =
Region is working on one as we speak,
rest of you want on?"
Suggestions: "White Wolf should let =
us go back to being a separate NPO
running games set in their world and stop being such =
jerks."
No other Comments in the report.
WWCA-013: Pharos Myst Rating: =
Early, Good
(ARC Note: CST in Ordeals =
Non-compliance; see Section 2 for details.)
Chapter has 13 members. One (1) member =
eligible for MC advancement: Tim
Brown (9610-027).
Last Chapter meeting February 23; next =
Chapter meeting March 16.
Highlights of meeting minutes: A =
new ACC has been appointed; ACST has
stepped down. Discussion of the WW/NPO =
situation resulted in "lots of
disagreement," and mixed feelings; some members =
will be leaving. Members
discussed continuation of "smaller =
venues." Members apprised of "blood
donor high need time;" one member can arrange a =
donation drive. Pizza party
will be held after the game.
Current Projects: Dundracon recruitment =
LARP was a success, with 80
players. E-mail addresses were collected form =
the willing, with 14 people
signed up on the announcement list. Two new =
players attended the Saturday
Cam/Anarch game and "will hopefully be coming =
back."
Problems: Chapter discussed WW/NPO =
issues at meeting. Most members have
decided "for the moment" to remain with the =
club under WW; one member asked
specifically not to be included in Chapter =
report. Several "casual" members
may also not transfer their memberships to WW. =
Overall effect might reduce
Chapter membership below required numbers unless new =
members joind the
chapter.
With the transition, "several =
members expressed that they were unwilling
to volunteer their time for a For-Profit entity, and =
one previous officer
shoose to resign."
Comments: The following members =
have transferred their memberships to
WW: Tim Brown; Adam Phelps; Choli Lightfoot; Rowan =
Cota; Sandra Stewart
No other Questions/Suggestions in the =
report.

are awaiting MC Approvals: Ree
Soesbee (US2002021444) to MC 11, and Chris Williams =
(US2002021540) to MC10.
Last Chapter meeting was November 3, =
2001; next Chapter meeting is April

projects have been put on hold while we deal
with the club's recent changes."
No Problems/Questions/Suggestions =
included in the report.
WWCA-016: The House of the Silver =
Crescent Rating: Early, Fair
(ARC Note: CST in Ordeals =
Non-compliance; see Section 2 for details.)
Chapter has 15 members; two (2) =
transferred members. Two (2) members
qualify for MC advancement: Megan Parks =
(US2002022477) and Jane Hutchinson
(2001-05-230). One (1) member nominated for =
over 100 Prestige; one (1)
member nominated for Regional Prestige; two (2) =
members nominated for
National Prestige. One (1) member passed =
Ordeals this month.
Last Chapter meeting January 11/February =
8; next Chapter meeting 4th
weekend in March.
Highlights of meeting minutes: CC =
was unable to send January report due
to computer crash, and stepped down on January 25; =
Megan Parks was elected
to the position. January report included in =
this report. Other issues will
wait until changeover to WW is complete and everyone =
is settled. Chapter is
going to stay with WW organization. Further =
decisions to be discussed
during the March Chapter meeting.
Current projects: Web page is =
being redesigned and moved to a private
server; should be completed by March. Members =
are being made aware of Black
Magic Kingdom e-mail list which is replacing the =
d-orangecounty list until
an official WW list is in place.
Problems: Dealing with the =
confusion of transferring from the NPO to WW;
all problems have been handled via e-mail so =
far.
No other Questions/Suggestions/Comments =
in the report.
WWCA-017: Unnamed Chapter (formerly The =
Bureau) Rating: Early, Good
(ARC Note: Chapter has fallen below =
minimum membership requirement.)
Chapter has nine (9) members; two (2) =
new members.
Last Chapter meeting February 24; next =
Chapter meeting March 9.
Highlights from meeting minutes: =
Discussion ofthe transition to WW.
"'The Bureau' as a name and collective unit is =
going to continue on as a
social Club unaffiliated with White Wolf's official =
fan club. Everyone in
the old Chapter will be welcome to join to social =
club and vice versa.
"Those members of the chapter who =
are transferring to White Wolf are
keeping the chapter number, but changing the name (to =
prevent confusion)."
A temporary CC and CST have been =
appointed. E-mail list and Web page are
part of the social club, so the chapter will be =
setting up a new Web site
and a YahooGroup for e-mail.
Current projects: Setting up a new =
Chapter Web page and moderated e-mail
list. New elections for permanent positions, =
and membership recruitment
efforts.
Problems: "Loss of members in =
the chapter transfer has caused membership
to drop below 10. We hope to have another =
member joining soon and will be
working on recruting more. I am trying to track =
down the number of one
member, I have included his NPO number."
Questions: "What is the =
current status on the Ordeals? I assume the
policy of taking them still stands. Where can =
they be located and who are
they sent too?" (ARC Note: According to a =
message on the Camarilla List
from Chuck Childers, proof-of-payment for ordeals =
that have not been graded
should be sent, along with the ordeal to grade, to =
him at
chuck.childers@attbi.com, or via mail at 10506 90th =
Ave SW, Lakewood, WA
98498-3721. He is not grading new Ordeals, so =
do not send them to him.
Chuck claims that "Ordeals are not currently =
required for a position,"
though he does indicated this will change in the =
future.)
Comments: "Much of the =
information on this report is temporary until we
can have a new chapter meeting with elections to =
determine the permanent CC
and CST. Both Dan and I have stepped in to help =
with the chapter
transition. While I do not have a problem =
continuing if the chapter wishes,
I do not know Dan's position.
The old Bureau web page needs to be =
removed from the SWR's web page."
No other Suggestions in the =
report.

"Minutes of chapter meeting were not
taken as it was just sharingof similar opinions of =
the future of the
chapter."
Current Projects: "None at =
this time."

pending members. One (1) member
recommended for move rthan 100 Prestige; one (1) =
member nominated for
National Prestige.
Last Chapter meeting: February 2; next =
Chapter meeting March 2.
Highlights of meeting minutes: =
Discussed formation of a Domain and which
officers the Chapter would support. =
Implementation of anew Vision
Statement. Introduction of the new ST =
team. Means to procure Chapter funds
and hos to use those funds to bring back Antithesis =
(the Chapter
newsletter); will probably do a Web verison for =
now.
Current Projects: Setting up Chapter =
socials and
costuming/makeup/influence seminars. Gathering =
the new US-series WW numbers
from the members; "This should make my job of =
judging who is staying with us
a lot easier."
No other =

report.
WWCA-025: Monsters Under the =
Bed Rating: On-time, Great
(ARC Note: CC in Ordeals Non-compliance; =
see Section 2 for details.)
Chapter has 11 members; one (1) =
transferred member. Four (4) members are
approved for MC advancement: James "Jim" =
Flood (US2002021043) to MC7, Jason
"Daven" Hill (US2002023125) to MC4, Shawn =
Jackson (US2002022238) to MC4, and
Jessica Munarolo (US2002021375) to MC2. Two (2) =
members nominated for over
100 Prestige; one (1) member nominated for Regional =
Prestige, and two (2)
members nominated for National Prestige.
Last Chapter meeting in February 2; next =
Chapter meeting is March 9.
Meeting minutes: Website needs to =
be updated or completely overhauled;
work will be divided between a number of people, and =
site moved to a server
which one of the members will have more control =
over. Chapter to have a
presence at DunDraCon. Pictures will be taken =
at the next game to be used
in recruitment flyers to canvas the local college =
campuses. Chapter will
stop hosting two Mage games per month, and continue =
with the game on the
second weekend in order to alleviate stress =
surrounding the Pharos Myst Mage
game; Sabbat venue to be put on hold for three =
months.
Current Projects: The Prestige audit =
continues; CC to focus on his own
audit. Chapter members fronted some funds to =
purchas soda for February
game; after sales, Chapter raised $16.00 dollars for =
the treasury, which
will go back into purchasing more soda for =
March..
DunDraCon game was =
"well-coordinated, and seemed to be well-attended and
received by the Con-goers." Over 80 =
players were involved, with interest
expressed for attending Camarilla games. A =
YahooGroups list has been
establised for those interested parties.
Comments: "So busy this =
month! We decided, as a chapter, that we enjoyed
spending time with one another. Therefore, to =
promote such self-indulgence,
we've placed chapter socials on a premium! =
First, in between our monthly
games on the 9th, we had a Potluck dinner, and =
throughly enjoyed ourselves,
stuffing our faces with all the wonderful food =
everyone provided. Then, on
the 22nd, those of us interested got dressed in our =
favorite goth-y type
clothing (or the nearest equivalent) and went to the =
local theater on
opening night to see Queen of the Damned =
together. In future months, we
plan to have BBQs between the games, and see more =
movies, as well as
possibly begin a chapter table-top game; giving us =
plenty of opportunity to
hang out with one another, and strengthen our =
bonds.
"On February 19, after the message =
from the President of the Utah NPO
went out, stating the plans to disolve that =
organization, I made a general
post to our chapter list, asking for all members to =
post their intentions on
said list, or in e-mail to me privately, so I could =
get a general feel for
the forward movement of the chapter, and it's =
future. I am glad to say
that, with the exception of one member, with whom =
communication is typically
slow and difficult to engage, ALL of my chapter's =
members (including our
newest transfer) have decided that joining the White =
Wolf organization was
the choice for them, and had, for the most part, =
already retrieved their own
White Wolf membership numbers. What can I say- =
I'm blessed. I may be the
only CC around who has had NO "drahmah" =
over the matter, and can happily say
that the chapter will weather this confusion in such =
a strong, unified
fashion. All membership numbers in previous =
portions of the report have
been changed to those White Wolf numbers- for the =
next three months, I
intend on listing both new AND old membership numbers =
in the prestige
listing section, to help with information transfer =
for other sources."
Problems:
"Regional 'Active Chapter' =
policies-
"My comments concerning the =
Regional policy were commented on and
discussed with the ARC of Reports, and the RC was =
copied in on the
discourse. I still feel strongly about the =
issue, but, after having made my
views clear, and having heard and understood the =
responses, I will simply
take the efforts as needed to make sure that my =
chapter is reflected in all
possible positive light; myself knowing how involved =
and active the majority
of our members are, despite their personal =
disinterest in being fed Prestige
for doing things that feed back into their own =
enjoyment of the games."
Questions:
1) Old Items: "ICC Prestige- =
So far, three of the members of my chapter
have been recognized for their efforts at helping out =
the success of the ICC
2001 Convention in Los Angeles. The rest show =
no awards as of yet. UPDATE-
With the dissolution of the Utah NPO, and the =
leavetaking of all the
information on the TAMU websites- I'm glad I was able =
to retrieve the
prestige that I DID for my members for ICC before it =
all went away. As I am
not sure there is anyone giving priority to this =
matter JUST yet, in the
wake of the tumultuous take-over of the chapters and =
structure of the
Camarilla by White Wolf, I'll just bide my time some =
more, and wait until
things settle before asking for more specifics on =
this issue."
2) New Items: "Independent CC =
Prestige- While I understand some of the
itinerant issues surrounding the recent turn-over of =
the Regional
Coordinator position into Sarah Despars hands, but =
during that interval
period, there was no SW RC report for November 2001, =
and thus, all
Independent CCs were awarded no prestige. I =
also understand how some of the
dealing with the dissolution of the Utah NPO and the =
new regime under White
Wolf has created overload and confusion, but there =
has now also been no SW
RC report for January 2002. I would like to be =
able to update my records,
and keep my own prestige current- I'm probably not =
the only Independent CC
wondering what's going on. Same with the =
Regional Staff members. When this
particular issue became a looming problem under a =
past RC's tenure, I made a
number of comments in my reports, specifically =
dealing with the fact that
respect for the chain of command, and the amount of =
work those of us
involved in it undertake, has to go both ways. =
If the Regional staff
expects those below them to make reports clear, =
precise, and on-time, then
the same respect should be given in return, and =
recognition for the work we
do should also be precise, clear, and ON TIME. =
'Nuff said." (ARC Note: The
SWRC report did not get filed last month due to the =
RC having computer
problems.)
WWCA-028: La Maison du =
Sanguinaire Rating: Early, Good
Chapter has 22 members; one (1) new =

and four (4) pending members. One (1) =
member for Regional Prestige.
Chapter treasury is empty.
Last Chapter meeting February 8 and =
February 23; next Chapter meeting
March 8.
Highlights of meeting minutes: =
Discussion of several topics at last
meeting: LMDS situation, Chapter Treasury, alternate =
sites and possible
advertising to recruit members.
Current Projects: Increase Chapter =
membership by advertising the club at
local college and game stores. Chapter is =
looking for someone new to take
over publication of the newsletter; Mary Wior is =
working on a new Website
for the Chapter. Trying to get backlogs of =
Prestige and find someone to
perform audits so logs can be sent to Domain level =
for pending MC approvals.
Comments: "The chapter seems =
to be willing to switch to WW but several

agains me, so I was eletec unanimously. =
Discussion of what was then
currently going on in the White Wolf- Cam =

dollars.
Last Chapter meeting was February 20 and =

February 9.
Highlights of meeting minutes: An =
ACC Treasurer and ACC Secretary have
been appointed on March 1. Chapter is losing =
their current gaming site;
voted to adopt site donations ($2.00 for all TC games =
per month). Schedule
for election of CC and CST was discussed; Chapter =
will go six months on CST,
and one year on CC. Substantial discussion of =
the transition to WW; Chapter
voted 23-1 to go with WW. Discussion about =
splitting Chapter in two and
forming a Domain. New chapter would have to go =
through a probationary
period, after which the two chapters could apply for =
a Domain. Discussion
of interraction between the two Chapters from a game =
perspective ensued.
(ARC Note: Please see the chapter report for all the =
detailed information,
which is too lengthy to reproduce here.)
Current Projects: Chapter is organizing =
a fund raiser/party to coincide
with the in-game opening of the Modesto Elysium in =
the Cam/Anarch game;
event has been pushed back to April due to the IC =
death of the host. Event
hopes to inlcuded a recital from Kelly Pohl as well =
as other entertainment.
Chapter is soliciting ideas for a new =
game site that will be "large
enough, nice enough, and affordable enough to replace =
the current site."
Chapter is beginning the process of =
dividing into two Chapters. "This is
fraught with peril, as we've already seen here. =
It is almost impossible to
avoid hurt feelings and misunderstandings in these =
situations, I guess. I'm
not entirely happy with how the member that I asked =
to look into forming the
new Chapter is doing things. But I can't =
prevent him from continuing on his
chosen course. I will be attempting to minimize =
the fallout and potential
damage from this. So far, the CST and I have =
decided to stay with TC, even
though most of our personal friends will be joining =
the new Chapter. I
personally have an ethical problem with their =
plans...and I've worked too
hard with TC to just up and leave now...So that is =
what will be consuming my
free time this month."
Kelly Pohl has stepped down from =
Webmaster duties; CC is soliciting
interested parties via the Chapter mailing list and =
plans to make a decision
during the first week of March.
Comments:
"As noted above, it was decided by =
vote that Twilight Cathedral shall
tranfer over and remain/become a White Wolf Camarilla =
affiliated Chapter.
"Please note that several prestige =
listings contain backdated items that
were either not reported in time for proper inclusion =
or were earned prior
to the member receiving their membership number. =
These items are dated in
the list for when they were earned.
"It is ironic that as I get my old =
membership number reactivated
(9411020) that things go as they have and I know =
longer need it.
"And my final suggestion - Everyone =
should take a deep breath and relax.
And send me money. Or ham.
"Please note that several members =
have received an award for Early
Renewal. I have confirmed that these members actually =
paid for an early
renewal before the NPO dissolved. Given that the =
members made a good faith
effort and expenditure, I am awarding them the =
standard early renewal bonus.
I have other members who asked for the bonus, on the =
basis that they
attempted to renew early but could not due to the NPO =
website being altered.
As these members did not actually renew, or pay to =
renew, they are not
receiving the renewal award. This matter was =
discussed briefly on the
SW-Coords list."
Questions:
1) "I did not receive any prestige =
award for October and November. Sarah
explained that no Independent CC received an award =
for November. I'm hoping
that when the new ARC Prestige is in position, that I =
can have this taken
care of. Prestige is a minor thing, but it's still =
one of the few tangible
rewards we CC's get. I'm patient, but I'd like to =
know if this will be taken
care of or if I'm just S.O.L.?
"Addendum> I didn't see an =
answer to this anywhere, so I'm leaving it in
the report."
2) "Is the 9/11 blood drive still =
ongoing? I didn't think so when I
awarded prestige this month. I want to be sure =
though, so that I don't screw
anyone who gave blood last month or this =
month."
Problems:
1) "It was brought to my attention =
that a member that I had previously
suspended violated his suspension and in addition has =
been spreading
negative rumours about me to other Chapters and =
officers. I have refered the
matter to the ARC Arbitration with a request for =
action against this member.
Other matters regarding this member's conduct and =
actions were also refered
to Arbitration.
">>Update. To date I have received no =
response from the Regional level. With
the change over, I'm reluctant to seem pushy, but =
this is pretty serious in
my book. I'll be requesting an update from Shawn (Hi =
Shawn!) sometime this
month.
"An itneresting note. The member in =
question has requested to leave
Twilight Cathedral to help form a new Chapter. When I =
refused to release
this member, due to the pending disciplinary actions, =
I was told by someone
that I couldn't do that, since he was helping form a =
new Chapter. To date, I
have not released the member in question and he =
continues to be reported
with Twilight Cathedral. Exact details are among =
those awaiting disposition
at the Regional level.
"Also, involving this member are =
persistent and continuing charges of
cheating. Ignoring challenges and walking away, lying =
about abilities and
retests, and so forth. Every game. Every! Since he =
believes that he is part
of another Chapter now, his behaviour has =
deteriorated..."
">>>New Update...*sigh* =
The member in question now emails me everyday
asking for details, down to the exact date and time, =
of any and all emails
or conversation I've ever had with anyone at the =
regional level that even
mentioned his name. When I point out that I have =
informed of each of the
issues raised against him, he claims ignorance and =
demands as above. He is
also demanding to know where our Regional policies =
are written down, arguing
that if they aren't in the Tome, they aren't =
legitimate policies and can't
be enforced...
"I try to patiently explain things =
to this member, but it doesn't help. I
get the sense that he's trying to wear me into =
dropping everything simply to
get rid of him."
2) "It was brought to my attention =
that visitor to our Chapter was making
inflamatory and derogative statements regarding one =
of our officers. This
was being done in a Camarilla sanctioned format. Due =
to the position this
indivual holds, the matter has been refered to ARC =
Arbitration."
">>Update. This matter also awaits =
disposition at the Regional level. The
visiting member in question has been asked not to =
attend Twilight Cathedral
functions for other reasons as well. Said member has =
caused problems for us
in the past as well."
">>>>New Update. This =
matter has been refered to the player's CC, after
clarification of his affilliation."
3) "As touched upon in the notes of =
our minutes, I fear that the effort
to split the Chapter and seek Domain status may have =
some detrimental
effects on internal Chapter relations."
Questions:
"1. I did not receive any prestige =
award for October and November. Sarah
explained that no Independent CC received an award =
for November. I'm hoping
that when the new ARC Prestige is in position, that I =
can have this taken
care of. Prestige is a minor thing, but it's still =
one of the few tangible
rewards we CC's get. I'm patient, but I'd like to =
know if this will be taken
care of or if I'm just S.O.L.?"
"2. Is there a limit as to how far =
back a member may try to claim
prestige? I have someone wainting to claim prestige =
for something that I
can't even remember that they supoosedly did in =
September. If one examines
my report, there are several members who just sort of =
forget things for a
few months then WHAM! Months of backdated prestige =
requests. It's a pain for
me, and I imagine it's not a treat for Pete or the RC =
staff either. I'd like
to establish a limit for Twilight Cathedral. Can =
I?"
~~~~~RC Note: if you wish to, go ahead..rather than =
setting a set amount of
time that can be backdated, use your personal =
judgement.and if you can't
remember them doing that for prestige and no one can =
back them up on
it..feel free to not accept it.~~~~~
"3. Can I require members of =
Twilight Cathedral to submit their prestige
requests on a sheet provided to all of them at no =
cost? It would, again
remember that I'm dealing with a huge Chapter, make =
my reports easier and
more accurate. Is there a policy on =
this?"
"4. Every once in a while (you may =
not have noticed) I try to slip a
little humour into my reports. Is this something I =
should avoid? (as a
matter of policy, not because I'm not =
funny)" (ARC Note: I don't mind it
at all, Eric; it makes my job a bit less =
tedious. I would suggest though
that you don't go overboard with it; the occassional =
comment is fine, but
humor should not overwhelm the report. Make =
sense?)
"5. Is there a policy at the =
Regional or National level regarding what
sorts of Charities a Chapter is allowed to support =
and or work with?"
~~~~~RC note: not that I am aware of, and I don't =
intend to be placing any
sort of restrictions on which charities people can =
contribute to~~~~~
"6. Is the 9/11 blood drive still =
ongoing? I didn't think so when I
awarded prestige this month. I want to be sure =
though, so that I don't screw
anyone who gave blood last month or this =
month."
~~~~~RC note: It's not.the regional bonus ended =
in October if I
recall.~~~~~
"7. My ACC, Harold (yes, I know!) =
says that one cannot hold a CC position
and an ARC position at the same time. Is this true? =
And if so, why? "
~~~~~RC note: it would be considered a conflict =
of interest and
overburdening of the member.I would not recommend =
that any of my ARCs hold
primary positions..and preferably no positions above =
chapter level. Being
on the regional staff is a lot of work in and of =
itself, and adding more by
having someone hold a primary positon on the chapter =
level is a fast way to
burnout and overwork yourself.~~~~~
Suggestions:
1) "I'd like to see CCs receive =
updates on pending matters that they've
sent up the *C chain. Monthly or biweekly, something =
just from the
appropriate regional person saying that we're aware =
of your issue and we're
working on it. Not hearing anything makes one wonder =
if an issue has been
forgotten, resolved, or is ongoing. "
2) "Perhaps we should have a small =
dossier of Regional Policies available
for downloading and printing somewhere. It would be a =
nice thing to have for
those times when members insist on seeing things on =
paper. The whole matter
of releases and such is a good example."
~~~~~It's a task I'm going to be having the ARC Web =
do, as soon as I get the
position filled~~~~~
Comments:
"Please note that several prestige =
listings contain backdated items that
were either not reported in time for proper inclusion =
or were earned prior
to the member receiving their membership number. =
These items are dated in
the list for when they were earned.
"I dropped the ball in January and =
didn't get a Chapter Meeting
scheduled. All of you are invited to flog me. (Unless =
of course you actually
would, then it's no deal!) It was a busy month with =
changes to our game
schedule, CST staff, several out of town cool games =
(Damn the stars for my
being staked when Noblisse Oblige was scheduled!). No =
excuse, I messed it
up.
"We're happy to Chris Smith join =
us. Formerly of Void Ascending in
Bakersfield, we've heard a lot of good things about =
him.
"I like some of the things the =
Regional staff is doing. I appreciate
their requests for feedback and the opportunity to =
discuss issues with them
on the lists. Communications such as these will only =
help the region.
"I like ham. Not just any ham, but =
really premium honey ham with the
glaze you make. Mmmmm. It's yummy.
"I'm concerned that burnout may =
become a problem with our ST staff. Any
suggestions on combatting this would be =
helpful.
~~~~~RC Note: Delegation.and making sure that folks =
can take a break once
and a while.~~~~~
"Well, the WWP vs BOD saga has =
generated some interest for me and Harold.
Every one else seems pretty blase about it, at least =
every one in our
Chapter. I've kept my opinions about the whole thing =
to myself. I view it as
part of the duties of the CC to remain officially =
nuetral in these sorts of
situations. Whatever the end result, the =
introspection it has engendered at
the regional and national levels is a good thing, I =
think. In the long run,
such self examination and reassessment of priorities =
and goals will only
help the organization improve and grow.
"And my final suggestion - Everyone =
should take a deep breath and relax.
And send me money. Or ham."

There were far too many Chapters/Domains =

If it's just writing articles or submitting artwork, =
I would suggest that
you don't have them on staff per-se, but treat it as =

would need so many people on

Current Projects:
There is now an Eternal Times Yahoo Group under my =
moderation. This list is
to
coordinate our efforts to produce and publish the SW =
Regional newsletter.
I will be assigning assignments to the staff based =
upon their stated talents
and proposals. These assignments include fiction =
writing, columns writing,
artwork, illustrations, and RL reports. I will =
contact the RC and the RST
for
their input as well as the input of their respective =
staffs.
Problems:
Ronni Eloff, US-2002-02-1264, had contacted me =
regarding photographs she
took
during the 2001 ICC. This project seems to have been =
commissioned by Dave
Barry
before I took this position. She has asked me what =
will be done with those
photos and whethershe would be awarded prestige for =
her work. My response is
that I never received the photos so they cannot be =
used, and I cannot verify
her prestige because I was not involved with the =
matter. I suggested that
she
contact Dave Barry to settle what disputes she has =
with prestige. I added
that
I would confirm any prestige recommendations that =
Barry would make on her
behalf. To my knowledge, Eloff have attempted to =
contact Barry, but I do not
know the results as of yet.
I'm leaving this matter alone until one of the two of =
them contacts me
again.

6. INDEPENDENT REPORT
1. SUMMARY
Most of my projects have been slightly put on hold due =
to the lack of
database. I no longer need track officers who have =
not taken ordeals at this
time. Much of the month has been fielding member =
questions and concerns.
I've fielded a number of going independent requests. =
Dealt with some members
transferring and other miscellaneous problems. =
Otherwise things have been
somewhat weird with the death rattle of the =
NPO.
2. OUTSTANDING ISSUES
Luke Stuard of Dark Side of Eden is currently pending =
for transferal to
Independent Status.
Luke lives in Hemmet which is at least 50 miles from =
the nearest chapter.
Currently DSE is in the process of folding I believe. =
What is the procedure
for folding a chapter? I have
~~~~~RC Note: I did not receive the full statement in =
this section of the
Outreach report~~~~~
3. CURRENT PROJECTS
I. Currently still involved with the 30 mile rule for =
those members of
distant chapters. Will be sending out a notice to =
SW-coordinator and SW-
Region giving till the end of the month to get in =
compliance with this rule.
Will discuss resolving those who continue to not be =
in compliance at a later
date.
Somewhat hampered in this project as well but still =
continuing. I've
tethered a couple requests. One Luke Stuard will be =
going independent
pending acceptance of his records. Secondly
II. I am launching into a project of looking into the =
various gaming
conventions that are present in the Southwest. I have =
become aware that a
number of local members have been running games for =
the Camarilla at events
such as stragicon and other like it. Would like to =
see more of an organized
presence for the Camarilla at these functions so as =
to possibly offer more
recruitment opportunities. Will have more as the =
months to follow.
~~~~~RC Note: As far as Cons go, I am aware of =
DunDraCon, Manafest, Hexacon,
TusCON, off the top of my head. there is prolly a =
listing somewhere on a
website.~~~~~
Status. Missed the latest Stragicon but these =
sort of events are held every
three months. I have a question though as to how much =
we represent White
wolf at these events being the offical fan club and =
all.
4. PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS
None at this time.
5. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
I.E. know this has been asked before but what is the =
application procedure
now for a new chapter. Who does chapter applications =
get sent to?
II.What is the procedure for folding a chapter? I have =
been asked this by
local chapter officers in regards to chapter business =
instead of letting a
chapter go into the black.

I
1. SUMMARY
A fairly busy month with a great =
deal of change and turn-over all
around.
I finally had a chance to chat with Sarah over the =
phone, which was very
pleasant.
2. OUTSTANDING ISSUES
The 0111 and 0201 Regional reports =
need to come out, mostly to keep the
Coords from getting restless. I know Sarah's on this =
already.
3. CURRENT ISSUES
I don't have a very specific area =
of duty, and that means I try to keep
an eye out all around. Some possible tension is =
developing in the Modesto
Chapter due to its proposed split into two separate =
Chapters, with the
intention to then form a Domain. Everyone seems to =
want the chapter to split
(it's huge) and everyone seems to want a domain. But =
the way in which the
split happened has quite a few people upset, and it =
would, in my opinion,
hamper the effective cooperation a domain =
necessitates. I've spoken to many
of the involved members in passing to keep abreast of =
the situation.
I've fielded a number of questions =
around the board otherwise, but
nothing terribly pressing. Everyone is still getting =
used to the ins and
outs
of the new club.
4. PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS
Apart from the above, life =
continues swimmingly. I finally received the
information necessary to set up the White Wolf =
SW-Coord and SW-Reports
lists,
and just got done double-checking who's on versus who =
should be, updatig my
own subscription lists, and then subbing everyone in =
plain sight.
5. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
None as such, though in general I =
dislike the White Wolf list system as
compared to the Mailman system we'd just gotten used =
to. Even the
yahoo-groups bit that i set up in the interum had =
some decided advantages.
Running a list like this is tedius and =
time-consuming, so those systems that
cut down the amount of steps necessary for monthly =
maintainance are worth
gold to me.

1. SUMMARY
I was a little distracted by some personal issues, =
all has passed and I'd
like to think I'm quickly catching up. I did =
not get a chance to review the
archives of the prestige group, but I will begin to =
do so next week, adding
a little here a little there. There is, in =
fact, a direct correlation
between the number of audits I can do in a week and =
the lack of presence of
my boss at work. If you petition her to be =
there less often, I can do more
audits more quickly. Contact information may be =
provided upon private
request.
I will be tackling the SWRE 200 prestige and those =
will hopefully be out
ASAP.
2. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
None, but after I hit send I'll think of =
something. Promise.
3. PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS
I've applied to the MC Review list for national =
reviews. I filled out the
requested information and have yet to hear =
back. I assume I've been pending
for approximately two weeks as of this =
writing.
Yahoogroups also went down last week and it's been =
refusing to allow me to
add logs to the database. Solution? I've =
decided to hate Yahoo. And what
would hate be without passion? So I added that, =
too. If the devil existed
in anything, it would be Yahoo.

6. INDEPENDENT REPORT
1. SUMMARY
SWRE is in Las Vegas and pre-reg is already going =
well. Working with
the National Council for PR and Events to promote it =
at upcoming
regional events- but the buzz is already great for =
the event.
Have been approached by Arizona to submit a bid for = 2003 already.
2. OUTSTANDING ISSUES
Money from Shannon from the LA Ball- Shawn did you =
get this yet?
Prestige audit for the 2000 LA Ball- status?
~~~~~RC Note: I've put Mica on the task of the 2000 LA =
Ball, SWRE awards
clean up~~~~~
3. CURRENT PROJECTS
SWRE 2003 Bids, when is a good time to announce? I am =
thinking right
after SWRE 2002 so people are pumped and get an idea =
of what they are
getting themselves into. On the other hand - if we =
get a 2003 place set
now- they can shadow the 2002 team to see how it's =
run and learn from
their triumphs and problems.
~~~~~RC note: I would say go ahead and start accepting =
bids..those who place
bids or are considering placing bids should prolly =
volunteer to be a part of
the event staff in some way i.e. security, character =
check-in, registration
table, etc. that way they get a feel for how =
events run and whether or not
they want to host it.~~~~~
4. PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS
I really think the pre-reg needs to be changed. I =
think there needs to
be more incentive from the last pre-reg price to the =
'at the door'
price ($30 last pre-reg, $45 at the door). However, =
changing it at this
time might be a problem since it's already been =
posted.
Who is updating the SW regional website now that =
Kimiko is gone?
Anyone?
~~~~~RC note: No one is currently updating the =
site.it will remain up for
the time being, but will not be updated. I =
should be putting out a call for
a webperson soon~~~~~
5. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
We need to pick a charity for the SWRE and any events =
to support it.
Did we decide on a regional charity to support or are =
we letting the
local Vegas team pick the charity?
~~~~~RC note: I will mostly leave that up to you =
to decide, I don't mind
either way. but if we go for multiple charities, then =
there is one I would
really really like to see donated to...~~~~~
I think that the Carn-Evil that was run by Russ Ingram =
was really cool
at ICC and fun, while working with the Sin City =
Theme. Possibly a
Casino Night (since it's a casino) with fake money, =
but the buy in is
real ($5 for $5,000 in play money) with the proceeds =
to go to charity.
Any suggestions?
~~~~~I love that idea! Feel free to run with it. = ~~~~~
