Questions and Concerns

A. Personal Questions, Concerns, Comments.

It's been a big month for me.slow on issues, but lots = of other activites.
By the next report the SW sigil will have been = decided, if the CC's will do
their jobs.Hopefully the regional prestige incentive = will get that going..
Still a major issue with lack of reporting in the = region.I'm at a loss at
this moment as to what to do to encourage the CC's to = write their reports,
and turn them in on time.

nominated for over 100 Prestige.  Three (3) = members are currently MC9 or

   Last Chapter meeting February 23; next = Chapter meeting April 20.
   Current Projects: None at this = time.
   Problems:  "The chapter is = suffering in the wake of the WW take over, and
it is questionable whether the chapter will remain a = viable entity for much
longer.  The roster is down to 11 individuals, = but of those 11, at most 4
actually seem willing to volunteer their time, and of = those none are
particularly enthusiastic.  I'm attempting to = foster discussion of this
issue on the chapter list, we'll see what the results = are.
   "Additionally, I plan on stepping = down this month (had intended to last

WWCA-015: Anathema   [Report late: = 03/07/02]     Rating: Late, Poor

Soesbee (US2002021444) to MC 11, and Chris Williams = (US2002021540) to MC10.
   Last Chapter meeting was November 3, = 2001; next Chapter meeting is April
6.
   Current projects:  "None, = projects have been put on hold while we deal
with the club's recent changes."
   No Problems/Questions/Suggestions = included in the report.

WWCA-016: The House of the Silver = Crescent     Rating: Early, Good
   Chapter has 17 members; five (5) new = members, one (1) transferred member.
Two (2) members qualify for MC advancement: Amber = Coates and Jane
Hutchinson.  Six (6) members nominated for over = 100 Prestige; one (1) member
nominated for Regional Prestige; two (2) members = nominated for National
Prestige.
   Last Chapter meeting March 23; next = Chapter meeting April 6.
   Highlights of meeting minutes:  = Four members, two new members in
attendance.  Other members have been reminded to = get their WW numbers.
   Current projects:  Converting = everyone over to White Wolf, introducing
new members to the chapter.  Social events and = community service opportunies
to be discussed in April meeting.
   Problems:
   1) Diana Brokl (US2002021371) has been = suspended until June 7, 2002;
reasons included in the RC report.  She is = planning to appeal her
suspension.
   2) Megan Parks (US2002022477) submitted = Ordeal of Narration and Creation
on Dec 30 online and has not received word about = them, nor a refund on her
credit card.  "Are the ordeals being graded = as usual or have they been
tossed out when White Wolf took over?"

 (ARC Note: This question was answered in last = month's report; please

~~~~~RC note: from last month's report: According to = a message on the
Camarilla List from Chuck Childers, proof-of-payment = for ordeals that have
chuck.childers@attbi.com, or via mail at 10506 90th = Ave SW, Lakewood, WA
98498-3721.  He is not grading new Ordeals, so = do not send them to him.
Chuck claims that "Ordeals are not currently = required for a position,"
though he does indicated this will change in the = future~~~~~
   Suggestions:  "White-Wolf = should get its act together and rebuild a
membership database for coordinators much like the = MyCamarilla database.  It
was very helpful in finding out wither or not Cam = numbers are valid as well
as prestige information."
(ARC Note: WW has offered all former members of the = NPO a free two-year
membership in their club; as such, all of the old Cam = numbers should still
be valid for transferring over.  Also, if you = are looking for a more
efficient way to track your members' prestige, I have = a program I wrote for
Coordinators called the "Coordinator's Tracking = System" which will maintain
individual members' records and vastly simplify the = process of completing
your monthly reports.  If you are interested, = please contact me privately.)
~~~~~RC Note:  From what I understand there are = plans to re-build or build a

with both the WW transfer and the influx of new = members."  Chapter Bylaws
were reviewed and some changes made.  CC and CST = were elected.  Chapter will
be setting up a mailing list and Web page.  Game = sites are being scouted.
Chapter treasury discussed; "CC to hunt down the = money."
   "Those members of the chapter who = are transferring to White Wolf are
keeping the chapter number, but changing the name (to = prevent confusion)."
   A temporary CC and CST have been = appointed.  E-mail list and Web page are
part of the social club, so the chapter will be = setting up a new Web site
and a YahooGroup for e-mail.
   Current projects:  Setting up a new = Chapter Web page and moderated e-mail
list.  Membership recruitment.  Hosting LA = Domain Summer Court event in June
2002.

   Highlights of meeting minutes:  = "Chapter meeting was held to determine
Dark Tower's Status within White Wolf's Camarilla Fan = Club.  Sadly only five
members showed up, including myself, the CST, and two = ACC.  However four
members did send in proxy votes three of which were = votes against remaining
members of the Camarilla fan club.  The votes = taken at the meetin gwere all
for Camarilla membership and the final tally was six = for Camarilla

I asked for this to be taken up to the RC and have = her handle it, and my

upset members.  They are more upset because they = want Sarah to handle this,

~~~~~RC Note:  leaving the domain was denied = until your membership roster
   February 2002     = [Report late: 03/17/02]     Rating: Late, = Fair
   (ARC Note: CST in Ordeals = Non-compliance; see Section 2 for details.)
   Chapter has 10 members.  Three (3) = members are MC9 or higher.  Chapter
treasury contains $20.00 dollars.
   Last Chapter meeting January 26; next = Chapter meeting TBA.
   Highlights from meeting minutes:  = No current meeting minutes; agenda
items include discussion of recent events in the = Camarilla, and charity work
the chapter wants to do.
   Current projects: Determining what is = going on with the Camarilla
   Comments:  "This report is = written and turned in by Robin Johnson
9910-017 or US2002023790 as Acting CC since the = elected CC is moving and has
not yet set up his computer or had a chance to sign = up for the new lists.
I'm going to keep this fairly short and to the point = since our chapter has
not had a chance to meet and discuss recent = events.  Not only is this a time
of change for the Cam, but for our chapter as = well.  Four of us are moving
to new locations within the local area, and two more = will soon be moving
completely out of the area.  Some members are = considering resigning their
Camarilla membership due to the recent changes to the = organization.  On the
bright side there are two people looking at possibly = joining who are new to
the Camarilla.  Old Cam numbers are used almost = exclusively since no one has
sent me their new cam number yet and I just thought = of that now."
   Problems/Suggestions/Questions: = "OK, looks like its time to ask again -
is there going to be a new required chapter status = report format?  And is
there going to be a requirement for physical = addresses of each member to be
posted in the chapter status reports?  I'm = asking the question about the
addresses because I remember this being a point of = heartfelt contention a
year or so ago.  Last time I asked, practically = none of my chapter members
wanted their snail mail addresses posted so widely = and several of us are
quite willing to quit the organization over the = matter. Basically we can
update the info on the web whenever we move, so we = don't see a reason for
the info to be included in a chapter = report."
~~~~~RC note:  I feel at the moment, the chapter = report format posted on the
sw region website www.camarilla-sw.org is what we = will be sticking with, as
I have no intentions at this moment of changing it.As = far as addresses go, I
don't think that those will be something that will be = posted in the chapter
reports~~~~~

   March 2002     = Rating: On-time, Fair
   (ARC Note: CST in Ordeals = Non-compliance; see Section 2 for details.)
   Chapter has 12 members.  Three (3) = members are MC9 or higher.  One (1)
member, John Oliver (US2002021299) has qualified for = MC Advancement to MC8.
Chapter treasury contains $20.00 dollars.
   Last Chapter meeting March 9; next = Chapter meeting April 27.
   Highlights from meeting minutes:  = Chapter disucssed NPO/WW situation and
has decided to stay with WW.  Members were = notified they needed new
Camarilla numbers, and were informed of how to obtain = them.  Game
adjustments were made in consideration of Rio = Sangre.  Chapter will be
polling members for interest to determine whether or = not to discontinue the
Cam/Anarch venue in favor or another venue = game.
   Chapter discussed possibility of mergin = with Pharos Myst.  Concerns were
raised about "the responsiveness of answering = directly to the Regional staff
instead of having the Domain as intermediaries," = as well as differences in
geography and sytles of play.  Chapter decided = it did not want to join
Pharos Myst but "[i]f the option was to be = considered but chapters should be
dissolved and reformed."
   CC and CST 6-month elections will be = held at the end of April.
   Current projects: Getting "back up = to speed" on charity work, and
transferring memberships over to WW.  Chapter is = dropping Cam/Anarch, but
continuing Garou and possibly something else.
   Comments:  "Since the CC is = still in an unsettled situation and unable to
do his work as the CC the duties have now been split = up between John Oliver
and Robin Johnson.  John has done everything = except the prestige awards and
chapter report which has been written by Robin.  = If someone higher up
doesn't approve of something please let her = know.  David has the right to
change prestige etc - but we have been in = communication over the matter and
things should be fine."
   Problems:  "For whatever = reason, the NC saw our last chapter report and
said it was turned in on 2/28 yet the RC did not = receive the report.  John
Oliver sent a copy of the report (with date stamp) to = the RC. Hopefully this
problem is resolved at this point.  If not = please write Robin Johnson at
coyote6@attbi.com"
   Questions: "Chriss Cornish, the = Chapter CST, turned in her Tome,
Chapters, and narration tests a number of month ago = but has not heard back
yet.  Should she resubmit them at this point and = does she need to repay for
them, or are there records somewhere?"

(ARC Note: This question was addressed and answered in = last months' ARC
Report; please consult that report for the = appropriate response.)

   "If there have been any changes to = the report format, any places to send
reports other than SW-Reports@list.white-wolf.com, = changes to the format of
chapter names (I notice the sw-report having WW in = front of a number of
chapters), or any other pertinent info that may have = been mentioned on the
lists restricted to Coordinators, but which people = like ACCs who write
reports need to know, could someone please let Robin = Johnson at
coyote6@attbi.com know, or post the info again on = cam-announce, sw-region or
some other appropriate list?  I'm sorry if this = sounds like a broken
record - I keep asking the same sorts of questions, = but since my CC isn't on
the coordinator lists, and the people making changes = sometimes don't inform
anyone but the coordinator lists . . . well you get = the picture."

(ARC Note:  The current report format and = reporting requirements are posted
on the SW-Regional Website, and are available for = anyone who cares to see
them.  It is the responsibility of the CC -- or = official designee -- to be
subscribed to the appropriate lists so that the = Chapter is kept up to date.)
~~~~~RC Note:  reports are sent to = sw-reports@list.white-wolf.com , and
camarilla@white-wolf.com ~~~~~
   Suggestions:  "Once again a = plea that anything important to the general
members be sent out on lists other than those = restricted to Coordinators.
Unfortunately CCs can't always keep up with all their = e-mail, miss things,
have real life concerns, or just flake - and some of = us would like to know
what is going on with everything = changing."
(ARC Note: Anything important for the general = membership is sent out over
the Cam-Announce list; there is also a general = Camarilla list which anyone
can subscribe to, and where some information can be = found.)
~~~~~I make many announcements for the Coordinators = to handle.like the Sigil
vote.
if the CC is not on the lists, then the primary ACC = should (like sw-coord
and sw-reports are two list that every CC or ACC of = each chapter should be
on).  I was an ACC for a chapter who's CC did = not have reliable email access
except to write and send the report.  I was = subscribed to those lists as the
Chapter contact and primary ACC.
Another list that members should be on is = sw-region..yes, there are lots of
game announcements, but other things or importance go = out over that list as
well.~~~~~

   Chapter has 16 members; one (1) = transferred member, and two (2) pending
members. Five (5) members nominated for more than 100 = Prestige; three (3)
members nominated for Regional Prestige, and three = (3) members nominated for
National Prestige.  One (1) member currently MC9 = or higher.
   Last Chapter meeting March 9; next = Chapter meeting April 6.
   Highlights of meeting minutes:  = Discussion/debate on WW/NPO concerns; all
in attendance agreed to transfer to WW as a = chapter.  Those not transferring
"can not gain prestige, play games or = participate in the chapter until they
have transfered."  Discussion of Chapter = charter and it's continuing
usefulness as only about four (4) people are = following it; tabled until next
neeting "to discuss direction, charter, chapter = goals."
   Current Projects:  Discuss the = direction and future of the Chapter at
next meeting.
   Questions:
   1. "Where do folks who have = prestige coming to them such as list
moderator, requiem, events, go now, if the = coordinator of those
events/activities di dnot transfer to = WW?"
   2. "How are folks who are going for = audits now going to have their
prestige validated for such things as Regional, = National, when 50% or more
of the doc are gone.  It has been expressed that = prior to the NPO dissolving
that folks were being stripped of Regional and = National prestige if -the
auditor- could not validate the information provided = by the member."

~~~~~RC Note:  prestige is still removed if the = information could not be
validated..Many of the old websites that listed = prestige for things like the
GSA staff and such have been recovered, as well as = many of the past ICC's
prestige.  Keeping good records is = imperitive.I've received some awards from
my time as an AOP).~~~~~
   3. "The Interim Steerig committee by = Mike Tinney's message was a -short
term set of positions that the members were going to = be able to vote.
Marc's announcement today including the statement = that he is staying in for
a year or more, is not short term, nor does it meet = the promises that Mike
gave that members would get to vote on who ran the = organization.  Any idea
of what is really going on concerning the length of = these positions?"
   4. "On May 1st it has been = announced that the current URL for transfering
to WW will no longer be available and everyone should = have transfered.  What
happens to those folks who don't and then come back, = sign up and get a new
number - Do they get their old MCs and Prestige = back?"
~~~~~RC Note:  many members left and came back in = the NPO, and as long as
they had records that could be checked..they were = given back.Records are
imperative.if there is no record of Joe Member being = MC10 when he left, and
is coming in saying he was..without something to = substantiate it, it's a
matter of tough luck in many cases.~~~~~

   5. "In the old NPO there was a rule = about Non-tamu lists.  Now there is
no tamu, many groups during the shuffle went and = formed more stable lists on
yahoogroups.  How does the regional staff wish = to track these for prestige
purposes?"

~~~~~RC Note:  currently I have no plan to track = those lists for
prestige.Until I hear from on high that moderating = non-official (as in not
on the primary Camarilla server.which is at this time = list.white-wolf.com)
list is approved to earn prestige again, prestige = won't be granted for
it.But I will look into it.~~~~~
venues.  Chapter has decided to back ST in = decision to desanction Philip
Verduzco's characters "due to continuous = problem-causing."
   Current Projects: Looking for new gaming = sites.
   Comments: "I need to have Aaron = Atencio added to the Coordinator lists he
will be the new coordinator. I also had mistakes in = adding for the last two
~~~~~send me his email address and I'll have the list = mod handle it~~~~~

   Problems:  "Transfer work into = the new Camarilla, and the Ordeal work

with players missing their number rs, probably due to = turnover."
   Questions: "We need a non-profit = number for the forms to attain a working

OUTSTANDING ISSUES
   None that I am aware of at this = time.

CURRENT ISSUES
   Many of the Coordinators are having = problems getting subscribed to the
SW-Reports list; more than a handful of the reports = were forwarded by other
officers.

 PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS
   None that I am aware of at this = time.

QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
   I've been having some severe problems = with "burnout" this month.  I
realize that everyone of the Coordinators are busy, = that change is
uncomfortable, and that real lives get in the way, = but I don't know what
else to do about this problem:  Chapter reports = (primarily) are still not
being submitted according to the published required = report format (that's up
on the Website).  I hoped that giving the = Coordinators a standard format --
and then writing software that practically writes = their entire report for
them in the proper format -- would encourage them to = make the changes, but I
guess even that is not enough.  With 48 = reporting units in the Region,
trying to to decipher all the varying formats just = makes the work I have to
do a lot harder.
   Compound that with the feeling that the = Coordinators are not reading this
report (as it's incorporated into the RC report) to = look for answers to some
of their questions (as evidenced by the same = questions appearing from
month-to-month), and I have to wonder if anything = that I'm doing here is
having any kind of benefit for the Region or the = Coordinators.
   I took this job because I wanted to = help.  I'don't feel like I'm making a
difference.
   But I'm not going to quit, Sarah.

I. Introduction

This is my initial report upon receiving the ARC: = Mentor position.  It will
be somewhat lengthy in order to properly address my = ideas, intentions, and
general estimated timeframes for the various projects = I hope to accomplish
while I hold this position.  As such I would = hope that future reports will
not be quite as lengthy.

II. Completed Projects:  Met with various people = in a session of ideas and
planning to give direction to the services offered by = the incorporation of
my position.
1.  Web resource:  This is an online = resource to provide quick and easy
answers to a great many of the Region's Coordinator's = needs, both incoming
and present.  It will also allow for greater = uniformity in procedure and
documentation of the different Coordinator = functions.
a. Regional Policies
b. Prestige Audit Guidelines and Primer
c. Report Template
d. Coordinator Training Syllabus
e. Conflict Resolution and Arbitration = Procedures
f. Applicable National Policies
g. General Coordinator FAQ
h. Recruiting Methods and Ideas
i. Leadership Methods and Tactics
2. Coordinator Training Staff:  This is a staff = that will be charged with
auditing and providing periodic observation, = training, and fact finding to
the various Coordinators within the Region.  New = Coordinators will
eventually have a set indoctrination program given by = a qualified trainer to
assist in priming them for leading a Chapter.  = They will also learn the
different techniques used by the existing, successful = Coordinators to
provide ideas for the other coordinators, providing = the best and most
efficient methods possible to the Region.
3. Mentor Staff:  These will be individuals = within the Region who wish to
provide contributions to projects without a firm time = commitment.  They will
be coordinated by an appropriate AARC: Mentor.
4. AARC: Mentor:  These will be individuals = within the Region who wish to
assist the ARC by leading the various projects.  = They will compile monthly
reports as to the projects progress and provide an = improved and controlled
method of completing multiple projects in a timely = manner.  As long term
projects are begun, there shall be more = appointed.  Precedence will be given
to existing staff members as they become = available.
a. Training:  This will be the AARC in charge of = the Coordinator Training
Staff.
b. Web Resource:  This will be the AARC in = charge of coordinating the
various coding and web aesthetics of the Web = Resources.  This will be
necessary to alleviate the potential of the ARC: Web = being overwhelmed by
the amount of new information being posted.

B. Junior Camarilla/Junior Membership:  Met with = various people in a
planning session for the possibility of under = eighteen memberships or the
support of local young role players.  We = discussed two avenues of approach
for either a national implementation or a regional = implementation.
1. National Implementation
a. Membership Types:  To better reflect the = needs of young members as
pertaining to their typical monetary needs and the = differing services they
will need a distinguishing membership type.  = Also in our discussion we spoke
about the possibility of rewarding long time members = (5 or 6 years +) with a
senior or elder membership package at a rather = reduced yearly rate to reward
loyalty to the club and also to perhaps help = encourage retention.
1) Junior/Neonate:  A membership for those under = the age of 18.  Might
confer all membership privileges except access to = main chronicle.  Could
count towards Elder Membership.  Junior = Chapters.
2) Normal/Ancilla:  Our tried and true account = that we're used to.
3) Senior/Elder:  A possible reward class for = continued service and
membership to the club.  Could include certain = benefits like potential
eligibility to signature characters.
b. Junior Chapters:  Junior Chapters will be = chapters made of junior
members.  Each will have an adult from either a = local chapter or the Region,
if no chapter is available locally, to act as liaison = and mentor for the
Chapter.  They will assist with promoting the = Junior Chapter's charity work,
ability to reserve play sights, and generally be = available to answer
questions and provide good, solid guidance as to what = the Camarilla
Organization stands for and the rules and such = associated with membership.
c. Junior Troupe Games:  Junior Chapters for the = most part will want LARP
games.  As such it would be advised to allow all = venues with the exception
of the Sabbat Venue.  Due to the themes of = Sabbat being very violent,
graphic, and all around the most disturbing of venues = it should be kept as
an over 18 venue for legality purposes.  Junior = troupe games should also
have a supporting ST staff liaison for rules = questions and to assist in
their blending as they transfer into the main = chronicle.
d. Assessment poll:  In order to better judge = the need, acceptance, and
needs of such a project, it was discussed that we = poll across the country as
well as possible.  This will give a greater feel = and confidence that the
project shall be supported and should also promote = interest in the endeavor.
There will be three distinct polls.
1) Target audience:  This poll will be geared to = measure interest and
provide insight into what services Junior Members are = most interested in.
2) Parents:  This poll will be geared to measure = the affected parents'
concerns and desires if such a project were to = achieve fruition.  This may
potentially pre-empt parental concerns down the = line.
3) Educators:  This poll will be geared towards = the local educators who have
to deal with the target audience and will potentially = be affected by such a
program as High School Gaming groups fall directly = into the target audience.

2. Regional Level:  In the case that White Wolf = or the National Coordinator
staff doesn't like or has reservations about the Jr. = Camarilla on such a
large scale, the plans will also have the contingency = of being implemented,
minus the fee for them to join, on a Regional level = to test the mechanics
and potential problems.

III. Current Projects
A. Timeline:  One of the basic needs of my = position overall is to formulate
a good working timeline, giving an order of = precedence to all of the ideas
that I wish to realize.  Separate timelines will = be formulated for both the
Jr. Camarilla idea and the general Mentor = ideas.
B. Trainer Staff:  These will be the people who = will assist and give input
into the projects as to how best to do a Coordinators = job.  I presently have
a list of names from throughout the region that I = will be hitting up for
some input.  They will be involved in the = training syllabus, FAQ, and the
general content that will go on the Website.

IV. Future Projects:  This will be dependent upon = the Timeline for exact
order and implementation.

V. Questions:

A. Is it valid to work on both the National and = Regional versions of the Jr.
Cam or should I limit it down to one or the = other?
B. Are there any projects you would like to see take = precedence over others?
C. Is there any limit to the amount of Regional = Prestige I might recommend
and/or the number of people I can gainfully = employ?

~~~~~RC Note: I would really want it limited to 5 at = this moment.as things
grow and you need more, we'll go over that when it = happens~~~~~
D. What is the standard procedure for the creation and = utilization of staff
lists.  I estimate that within a month or two, I = will have need for a couple
different ones for ease of communications.
E. Will it be possible, with the advent of the = Coordinator audit, for the
Regional representatives to disallow individuals or = recommend disallowing
certain individuals should they prove unable or = unwilling to meet the
acceptable standard for coordinators, which shall be = approved by the
Regional Coordinator?
F. Should I consider adding a Charity branch to the = Mentor arm position?
~~~~~RC Note: Charity good!!!  ~~~~~

Arbitration/Administration

SWARC ADMINISTRATION REPORT- March 2002

1. SUMMARY
2. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
3. PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS

1. SUMMARY
    Another month filled with = questions, answers, and a lot of list support.
I have those fairly well automated at this point, so = it's not as time
consuming as before. The questions and answers are = always time consuming,
but
that's the gig I signed up for. :)

2. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
    Everything seems fairly up to date = at this point. It looks like the club
is finding a new equalibrium with the White Wolf take = over, and new chapters
are cropping up all over the place.
    As a head's up, I've inherited the = ARC Arbitration job from Shawn
Jackson, and it looks like there's only one lingering = issue still floating
around at the moment. Shawn is going to forward me = the emails, and I'll find
out if either party actually wants to take any = further action. It seems as
though they've put it behind them, to a certain = degree.
    I expect this next month to be = very busy, all the same.

3. PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS
    I'm happy to say the issue with = the "Pillars" Chapter is finally
resolved. James Webster, the new CC, ponied up ten = free and clear members
and
all is well. He's got Mike and Shawn as contacts = already, so I figure he's
in
good hands. On that same note, the pending issue with = Louis Sommers is also
concluded, and it looks like everyone's old luggage = is finally off the front
porch.

6. APPROVED REVIEWS

1. SUMMARY
I was able to get only a few audits accomplished this = month due to some
lack of responsiveness and I wasn't at my own office = for the past week and a
half (where I do most of my auditing) so things like = 9/11 prestige isn't yet
prepared.
Due to fun real life stuff, I needed to take a week = sabbatical from all
things Cam, but I expect to have all current audits = in process and
(hopefully) completed by this time next week.  = However, I will be mostly
offline between 4/26 and 5/4 for a couple of events I = have committed time
to.  I will still be checking over e-mail at = this time in case there are any
emergencies, but if someone has an emergency with = prestige, I'm wondering if
they need to take a sabbatical as well.
So then, in my April report I will report the final = totals of the SWRE 2000
prestige and 9/11.  I am still awaiting the = recommendations for the LA Ball
2000 before I can verify the totals.  I'll = follow up on that, and maybe,
just maybe, I will be able to post those as = well.

2. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
None at this time.

3. PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS
I was so greatly disappointed by the amount of = responses I received to
collecting the 9/11 data.  I find it hard to = believe that I have more
members in my chapter than region members who = committed time and efforts to
being good samaritans.  However, after reading = the chapter reports, I
realize that with the constant flux of coordinators, = that the means I used
may not have been realistic to gain the proper = tallies.  Therefore, in the
next couple of days, I will be reposting  a = request on the general region
list, in hopes that members will pass word to their = chapters and CCs.
I would like to thank those CCs and DCs who did, in a = timely manner, send
me their totals.

SWRE 2003
Got a bid from Arizona for Spring 2003 (without even = calling for one!)
that is really compelling. Will be reviewing it and = talking with the

Will post a call for Spring 2003 Bids this = month.

2. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
Since this Regional event is not in LA and being run = by myself, I am
not sure as to how involved I should be in the = running/coordinating of
it. I don't want to step on the local coordinator's = toes, but I also
know we need more promotion for this event through = the ads, etc and am
concerned it's being dropped. Too many cooks, = etc.

~~~~~ RC Note:  Get involved as much as you need = to be to ensure this event
comes together.I have also had many concerns it = regards to the event, that I
feel are issues that aren't being addressed. Speaking = of the event.I'd like
Need an ARC Web so we can start promoting all these = cool events and
