----------RC Summary: Questions, Comments, Concerns---------

SWRE 2003 is near on us, and it’s moved into crunch time. It’s shaping up to be a really great event and I look forward to attending and seeing many (I can only hope for all) of you there.

Continuing offer:

To all of you CCs and DCs out there….This is my challenge to you: I want to see each and every last one of you report for the same month. I want to see 100% reporting! I know you all can do it! If you all manage to report by at least the 10th, I convert HALF of your Admin prestige for Coord duties to Regional. If you all manage to report early or on-time, I’ll make the whole award Regional. I believe in you, and I know you can do it!

These past two months have been insanely hectic and I haven’t really been able to slow down. My cell company will love me, simply for the sheer number of minutes I’ve been using above what my plan allots me.

----------Regional Prestige Awards----------

---------- Chapter and Domain Questions and Concerns----------

CA-012-C

Is there a website where all local, regional, and national philanthropy drives are listed?

~~~~~RC Note: Not to my knowledge.~~~~~
Does anybody actually read these? Other than Irfan?
~~~~~RC Note: I read them, Mr. Childers reads them, other chapter coordinators read them. Irfan does not read them, he reads ST reports not Coord reports.~~~~~

CA-015-C

What lists should I be on as Coordinator?

~~~~~RC Note: Coordinators need to be on the following lists: us-sw-reports, us-sw-coord, and coordinators~~~~~
CA-016-C
Has the person in charge of SWRE promotions decided to make the prestige
regional? There are many members just waiting to jump on it, and I have
decided not to award just yet until that person makes a decision. The ACC
has a list of people that have promoted SWRE and are awaiting prestige
awards by either regional or the incoming CC.
~~~~~RC Note: All things done for SWRE should be recorded with the appropriate Department head. After the event, the prestige recommendations will be compiled and Regional Prestige will be awarded.~~~~~

CA-018-C

-How regularly will we be getting updates on the end of the world? What
kind of lead time will the players have between the launch of the 'new and
improved' World of Darkness and the beginning of the new chronicle? Will
6.0 remain in effect (if two weeks ever passes)?
-Will there be radical changes to the game system in the revised WOD? Will
the basic concepts of clan, tribe, gifts and disciplines remain?

~~~~~RC Note: I have no idea, these questions would be more appropriate to address up the ST chain.~~~~~
CA-022-D
I have a member in my Domain who helps out an Assistant on the Regional level. His Prestige comes out on the Regional report. Do I award him this Prestige the following month since I don't have access to the recomendation before I send out my report?
~~~~~RC Note: Yep, that would be correct. But please note that you are not the one who is awarding it, I am. You are simply recording the award in your chapter report.~~~~~

I didn't see the RC report. Did it come out? If it didn't, how do I find out the current Status of my Domain and Prestige?
Also, are moderators for e-mail lists for IC purposes still award Prestige by the RC only?

~~~~~RC Note: The June RC report was not released. As for prestige, please note both June and July’s prestige in this report. All non-ww server list prestige is awarded by me.~~~~~
CA-027-D
We are still awaiting the final resolution of the complaint against the
office of the RST and the ARC-Arbitration's investigation of one of our
members. They have both been on-going for almost two months.
~~~~~RC Note: I have no information on the Complaint against the RST, however a new NST has just been elected and it will take time for him to settle in and resolve the complaint. However, once you have received a note stating the complaint was received, you are not included in on any further investigation or results of that complaint.

The matter being investigated by the ARC: Arbitration office is a large on with many, many things which are being looked at to ensure a fair and appropriate action.~~~~~

CA-030-C

Did my DC send his DSR out, because we never saw it. Also, I have at least three members of my chapter who have sent their MC audits up the chain, but I think the DC is slacking. Any news on David Sauter, Brian Majors or Becky Kozak’s MC audits?

~~~~~RC Note: Brian Majors and Becky Kozak are both waiting in the Regional Queue.~~~~~
CA-031-C
Does anyone have prestige records for the chapter: :Last Whiskey Bar, Domain: LA pre-NPO dissolving? We have a old player returning- Jack Finnegan, and his prestige records seem to be lost. If we are unable to replace them, can CCs still award MC?
~~~~~RC Note: contact Chuck Childers about rebuilding the log from whatever chapter records we may have at us-chapters@diablerie.net If the records don’t exist, the CC can grant up to MC 5.~~~~~

CA-037-D

1. We have a member who wishes to transfer into TWC from another region.
Their former Chapter has gone defunct. Do we look to the RC of the member's
former region for approval of the member transfer?

~~~~RC Note: yep, that would be correct~~~~~
2. Patricia Reilly had her membership payed for by DC Rudy Fuentez some
months ago. Repeated contacts with members services have thus far yielded no
results. It is seeming as if the only thing left to do is for Mr. Fuentez to
again purchase a membership for Ms. Reilly and hope that this one does not
disappear into the ether of E-commerce...Any suggestions before Mr. F spends
another $20.00?
~~~~~RC Note: I would continue to attempt to reach member services. Make sure you have the order confirmation #~~~~~

CA-042-C

1. The CC Report for March was late and turned in
around the time that the April report was turned in.
It was requested that we re-send the report for the CC
to get his prestige. We re-sent it but recieved no
reply. Should we just request the prestige from the
DC or should we re-send it again?

~~~~~RC Note: By all means have the DC award it, as I do not award prestige for chapters within Domains.~~~~~
2. We cannot find Eric Ruiz'number in our lists. I
was there when he purchased it, so I know he bought
it. Could someone send it to me?
~~~~~RC Note: US2003041460 is his Cam #~~~~~

CA-046-C

Has any NCRE prestige been awarded yet?

~~~~~RC Note: http://www.dragoncontinuum.com/NC/ncrcoffice/prestige/ncre8.html is the current list of NCRE 2003 prestige~~~~~
CA-048-C
We would like to know what actions we need to take in
order to acquire the cam number for those who have
purchased/renewed their membership.
~~~~~RC Note: contact either myself or member services. Include the member’s name and Order Confirmation # (if you have it)~~~~~

CA-052-D

If the Chapters do decide to fold and just become a domain, can this or will this hurt us in the long run?

~~~~~RC Note: it would hurt you more to keep them open and under the required number of members.~~~~~
CA-056-D
Where is DC prestige listed? Also, when someone gets a prestige audit back from regional it comes on a spreadsheet with a nifty MC Card button. How or where can I get that at for the audits I do on a domain level? Does anyone actually read these?
~~~~~RC Note: DC prestige is listed in my report in Part 2 by Code. As for the spreadsheet, contact Peter Savas at jester@networld.com as he created the program. Yes, I read your reports.~~~~~

CA-057-D

If someone is Vst for multiple venues do they get prestige for all the venues or just one lump sum for their efforts?

~~~~~RC Note: prestige is awarded independently for each position.~~~~~
I was informed that the Dc awards the prestige for all the VST as well as their assistants and Adst, is this true and could you clarify?
~~~~~RC Note: correct, and you also award prestige to the DST~~~~~

How is prestige for lists run, I have someone in the domain claiming lots of prestige for moding lists that are not WW server lists?

~~~~~RC Note: At current, all lists not on the White wolf server, earn the prestige awarded by the Regional Coordinator. At this moment, I am not awarding prestige for non-WW server lists.~~~~~
What the hell did I get myself into?
~~~~~RC Note: the Domain Coordinator position.~~~~~

Do I need to report who was audited for mc advancement 6+?

~~~~~RC Note: unless it’s in your report format, you don’t need to report it~~~~~
CA-060-C
why did it take the M and M corporation so many years to
bring back the blue M and M? Then why did they destoy tradition and
bring in a purple M and M?
~~~~~RC Note: Businesses are always doing silly things like that.~~~~~

CA-061-I

I have four members who believe they have Membership but don't know the #'s:
Sadler, Cole
Schairer, Amber
Thomas, Donald
Yaun, Stephanie

~~~~~RC Note: Cole Sadler: US2002086564 is the only number I was able to locate. I would recommend emailing member services to find out about the rest~~~~~
NV-008-D
What is the status of Prestige Reviews on the Regional Level?
~~~~~RC Note: the current queue is sitting at 7 members. Audits typically have a 1 month turn around time or less.~~~~~

UT-013-I

When will the nominations for the RC Elections be opened? When will the
elections be held?

~~~~~RC Note: current timetable is: all call on the 26th of August. Elections begin on the 9th of Sept. However this is only a rough timetable and the actual dates may vary as the Camarilla Council is trying to stagger Regional elections.~~~~~
Current Events:
There is no change in the information I have for the events in this area so this is their information again. I will add as I get it.
1. Mid Summers Faire - This event was a blast! If you missed it, you really missed it. The even was well put together, the games were highly entertaining, and the staff was excellent. Two thumbs up! Be looking soon for the prestige to be awarded for this event!
3. SWRE 2003 - Aug 28 - 31, 2003 in Ontario, CA. This event, due to unforseen circumstances is now directly under myself. We've been working over time on getting things set up and with the crack staff that were already in place, it's fairly easy. These guys put in a gob of hard work, so if you get a chance and you see them there, please give them a pat on the back, they really did put themselves through the ringer to make this event every bit as good as it's going to be. And if you get a chance, come on out and check it out, it promises to be a lot of fun. Lower roomrates availible until Aug 18th, so get in there as fast as you can. And if you pre-reg prior to the 18th you're automatically entered into a raffle to get your registration fee back. On a side note, if you've heard the rumor that there will be a zero tolerence policy for room parties at SWRE, this is incorrect. SWRE's room party policy and all things that apply to it will be the same as any other event. So if that's all that stopping you, issue removed, common out and join us in a weekend of leasurly gaming and fun!
Current Charity Drive:
Ok guys, here we go. We had a horrible turn out for last months charity drive. We had a total of 5 people outside of myself donate toys for children. With all of the things going on, we really need to keep in mind that we're also a charitable org, and there are those that are far worse off than us.
With that in mind, we're kicking off an all new quarter and with it, an all new Regional charity drive. We're going to go for somthing a little closer to home this time, to attempt to pull a little easier time getting things in.
Clothing Drive Time:
Here's how it works, I wasn't very clear on the last one, so I will be on this one. You donate clothes, and I award you prestige. These must be clean, wearable, unstained clothes. Please keep undergarments out of it unless they are new, in the package. But t-shirts, pants (both jeans and slacks), socks, hats, sweaters, jackets, and gloves are all welcome. Anything of this nature that would allow us to get help to the people who need it most.
This will work mainly like the toy dirve did. You'll turn these things into your DC/CC, they will in turn take a tally and at the end of each month send the numbers up to me. I will award Regional prestige baised on the information collected. An example of what I need from the coord's is below.
John Smith, Cam # USXXXXXXXXX: Donated 1 Jean Jacket, 2 t-shirts, and 2 pairs of pants.
Jane Smith, Cam # USXXXXXXXXX: Donated 5 t-shirts, 3 pairs of shorts.
All Items donated to XXXXXXXX Shelter for the homeless in the Camarilla's name. (Insert contact info here.)
DC's/CC's: Simply collect the clothing, tally it per person, pick a charity in your local area that you like and donate it there under the name of the Cam. Then send me the break down of your member's donations and I'll award them prestige for their donations.
That's all for now, let's really try to make this work so that we can continue making a difference!
If you have any questions about this drive please feel free to contact me at events@camarilla-sw.org and I'll answer them to the best of my ability
