Last Domain Meeting: 09/16/2004
Next Domain Meeting: 10/29/2004
Highlights of Meeting Minutes:
Once again discussed the coming event of ICC, this Domain will not be
taking an active role in that event due to several issues. Spoke with those who
intend on attending, and as a Domain were informed of the Coordinator and
Storyteller activities which have to be done for each member who wishes to
attend said event. Talked about preparing MC cards for those who require such
things, and the ST must sign the character sheets.
Current Projects:
- Garou VST has not stepped up to run the game, I have talk to several
people in the Domain to try and get someone on board. It looks like the DST
will have to run the game till some one steps up.
- Working to get several more Transfers done, Aaron Sturtz wishes to
Transfer from AZ-010-D to Tithe of Souls. I have no issue with this, though
I will need to look over his prestige logs, and send them to Chris and Damon
to look over.
AZ-009 Que Sera Sera {on time, good}
Membership as per national: 8 members.
0 member who qualifies for MC advancement
Chapter Treasury: $7.64
Last Chapter Meeting: 09/01/2004

Highlights of Meeting Minutes: Items discussed were, Recruitment drive, and adoption of local charities for support. Hollis McCray noted that he has still not receiving prestige from the SWRST for his early reporting as the Mage VST for the chapter. A chapter social was also planned for Oct 1st or 2nd attending the movies.
Current Projects: Chapter Recruitment Drive-I have posted several flyers and will maintain the sites regularly to support our drive. We have had several inquiries and even a pending member show up. We are also pushing the 6 month membership to those interested but unsure of joining the cam.
Prestige Review-This is an ongoing project to ensure that all members’ prestige logs will be according to the national format as prescribed by the USNC.
Local Charity Support- As of the 1st of October we shall support the Local Red Cross Chapter in Cochise County, with blood donations or per their direct request monetary funds to assist with the hurricane victims in Florida. We are also developing a dialogue with Habitat for Humanity to support them with manpower for any upcoming projects that might need support.

Highlights of Meeting Minutes:
Held a
storyteller meeting to explain the Garou and Mage VST situation. Both the Garou
and Mage storytellers are up for election (Garou due to his term being up, Mage
because she didn't take the Membership and Storyteller Ordeals). Also explained
some of the events at the Sabbat game and some of the current Year of Fire stuff
going on. We then went on to hold the chapter meeting, in which we explained
that several members would be transferring, made everyone aware of some of the
new members that joined our chapter, and held an open forum for chapter issues.
Elections were an important topic, both for the Garou and Mage VST slots and the
CC slot. People really want to hold the CC election so it's official. The topic
of forming a domain came up, and it was explained that the fact that we held a
chapter meeting / social meant we only needed to hold a charity event in order
to get our domain application ready. As such we are currently planning a canned
food drive ? there will be more details on that in the next report, but everyone
agrees that this is probably a good idea, especially
considering the state of the local food banks in Riverside County. People seem
pretty opposed to the idea of splitting into 2 chapters to become a domain,
although we were told we would have to do so by the previous RC in order to get
our application approved. Now that there will be a new RC, this doesn't seem
like it will be a requirement, and people are more enthusiastic. Once we felt
like we had debated those issues enough, we order pizza and commenced the
social.
Current Projects: - Work on Domain Paperwork, Elect Garou and Mage VSTs, Prepare Prestige Audits for new RC (Chris Pozsgai, David Mercer), Work on transfers for Jason Weber, Mary Wior, and Cassandra Wendel. A charity has been started for a canned food collection for Second Harvest Food Bank. A permanent cell phone drive is in the works and is expected to start during the first week of October.

Highlights of Meeting Minutes: We had a quick meeting this month before the Garou game. Erik mentioned beginning a newsletter to help promote the chapter. I mentioned working with Chriss to get it on the website and polling the chapter for articles. He was agreeable with the idea. I also mentioned the possibility of running for DC in the coming elections.
Current Projects: - I am currently preparing the prestige logs to be current in the links and verifications of Regional and National records. Hopefully we will not be moving off of rack-networks anytime soon. I still have Robin Johnson and my own records to update. I have encountered verfication issues with Storyteller Recognition Awards in particular.

B. Discussed potential directions to move the Domain, Charity,
socials, basically, membership is content and happy with the current
way things have gone and so if any changes are made, it would be a
natural evolution as the domain moves with the Camarilla into the new
playing field with game reset.
2. New WOD
A. DST gave brief summary of potential directions for new local
plot-lines and asked for membership comment.
B. DST announced intention of abandoning certain OC areas of interest
giving it over to Common Cents Domain for their control in the next
upcoming reset. DC protested vehemently against it.
3. Petitioned Member Transfers into BMK
A. Received word of certain individuals wishing to transfer to BMK,
some would be returning members

Part 4: Comments, Questions, Problems & Disciplinary Actions
Problems:
From Anna: All prestige is listed in the monthly RC report. If it is missing from the monthly RC report please send me an email at bleedingcontempt@aol.com with your name, cam number, and the prestige you are missing. Thanks!
P: My
VST's other than Jay Hart are NOT being recognized or submitted for prestige by
the RST in his monthly report. I have one player, Hollis McCray US2002023904,
who has been unable to be awarded prestige even though he has reported on time
for at least 6 months and upwards of 12 months.
I have requested but received no reply, in attempting to have our chapter listed
in the iCam database and listing myself as the CC. I have been the CC since July
of this year and still see Barbie Hart listed as the CC on several reports.
From Anna: All RST recognition awards need to be addressed directly with the RST staff. Please contact his Storytelller chain on his behalf. As for the Icam database, I forwarded the request to the RC and it should be taken care of soon.

- I have a member of the Camarilla who wishes to Transfer from the Alabama
who is having problems getting his logs from his ex. According to him, she is
not doing anything to help him, and until she releases those logs¡K he seems to
be frozen in limbo. I want to help this guy, but I seem to have my hands tied?
From Anna; Send me an email with details at
bleedingcontempt@aol.com. Please include as much contact info for his former
coordinator chain as possible.
(Current workings of Above)
I emailed the Admin of the Domain which held his Prestige Logs and that
individual reported to me that they had transferred the Logs to the appropriate
RC (Del Smith). I will be trying to get a hold of Del to ensure
this is actually being done. Talked to Del and informed him of the situation, he
wanted to be CC’ed on the next email I sent the other DC. Del and I both
received Mark’s Prestige logs, the next day.
- A Member of my Domain has been up for MC 12 for a while, and I looked at
the July Report and noticed that his Audit has been closed. I know that is
because the Camarilla settings site prestige is gone, and thus the links on his
log do we have an idea of when that site can be given a permanent home, so I can
correct the links to his awards and finally get that Audit through?
CA-012 Moonlight Masquerade
P: I have spoken with Regional Staff regarding Regional Prestige awarded to Bob Jansen in October, 1997. When Pete Savas ended his term as RC, I began corresponding with Wes Contreras. Wes, Is there any news on this? Gina D'Agostino helped set up balloons and such at Garou at SWRE. She says she did sign in and out. She is not listed for receiving any prestige. Can we remedy this please? BJ James narrated for Joe Barrett in a mortals game at SWRE and received no prestige for it. Can we remedy this? Loren Gale donated Valerin in the SWRE in character charity Donation, and did not receive any prestige for it. Can we remedy this please?
From Anna: We need details, cam numbers, and the supervising person for the times.
P: MC7
audits need to be done by the ARC Outreach. Unfortunately, there are no recorded
MC6 audits for either member requesting the audits. We may have our ACC Audits
and Prestige, Jun Chun, send a letter verifying that their prestige logs are
correct. Due to an apparent math problem in past reports, Andrew Hemmond's
prestige log is a bit off. It will be corrected shortly. My membership number
had two numbers mixed up in past reports. It is corrected in this one. I haven't
gotten a reply to join the US-SW-Reports and
US-SW-Coordinators lists yet.
From Anna: Send any corrections to cam numbers to bleedingcontempt@aol.com.
P: I'd like to know if there's hijinx involving members of my chapter….people refusing to do conflict resolution isn't going to solve matters if people won't do it.
From Anna: That sucks. Boxing gloves?
P: We have not been able to book our game site in several months.
P: I am extremely displeased with the way a regional investigation was handled. Who should I address my concern to?
From Anna: NorCal Arbitration was replaced by Erin Babin (ebabin@sbcglobal.net). Please contact her regarding this issue.
P: On
the SWRE prestige one of my members has his name spelled wrong. US2002076400
Lance Sinantz, should be Lance Schantz
Roger Karolo I know has purchased a membership extension more recently than
April, 03 but the membership database shows that his membership has expired. He
has not had e-mail access ever so he doesn't have a record of it. How can I take
care of this in lieu of paperwork?
P: I am
stepping down as DC effective 9-1-2004, Sorry for this report being late but due
to an increse in RL workload I have been unable to fufil my duties as DC. Gary
Corkins will be acting as DC until a DC election can be ran he will be filing
the september report.
I am formally requesting a DC election for UT-014-D
Please note that this report is not in the national format in regards to
prestige due to time constraints.
Questions:
Q: We
have selected Hollis McCray to act as our tentative Requiem VST for the TT
Requiem venue as of now. Can I award him prestige for developing the upcoming
chronicle if so what category, he has put
large amounts of time in developing this as of yet untried venue.
From Anna: This falls under his job description as a Storyteller. You can always award prestige in the misc catergory for above and beyond if you would like.
From Anna: I am unaware of this situation. Please contact the National MC review team.
Is it
possible to get updated on the status of the pending MC approvals we have
going? As a new member/coordinator of this chapter I don't really know at what
stage this stuff is stuck. Thanks.
***UPDATE*** I haven't heard anything on this either. Thanks.
Q: W(t)| = A*X1*e^(iht) + B*X2*e^(iht) ?
From Anna: http://pitp.physics.ubc.ca/archives/CWSS/2003AprilBanff/Talks/tim_havel.pdf
Q: How much prestige is one hour of volunteering worth? Four hours? Eight hours?
From Anna: One hour is generally broken down to between 2-5 prestige depending on the coordinator.
Q: Can Francis (our mascot) get a Cam membership? I want to sign him up for the trial.
From Anna: No prestige, and he can’t count towards membership. Other than that welcome Francis-get your growl on.
Q: Is
there a good consistant & conprehensive source of Storyteller Recognition
Awards? The US ANC Prestige site is rather incomplete for this particular item,
and the SWRC Reports only record this item so far back.
A member waiting for a Regional audit would like to transfer to another chapter
outside of the Domain. However, the member would also like his audit approved.
Should the audit be submitted then the transfer? Can the transfer double as an
MC approval audit? I am curious on how to approach this.
From Anna: I would suggest contacting the national prestige team in regards to this question. As for the second question, the audit is submitted by regional staff upon approval of transfer. Thanks!
From Anna: Not a policy perse so much as a guideline. If a member of the RC staff does not respond to you in 7 days, then re send the email explaining that you have been waiting for a response and CC their boss.
Q: When will members be able to summit Prestige Logs to the Regional audit team?
From Anna; Now is good.
From Anna: I doubt it, but then again I could be very very wrong.
Q: I have two members with pending reviews for MC advancement. I need help from regional with their Audits. Can someone contact me please?
Q: How exactly does the free 6th month membership work? This could be an awesome recruiting tool and I just want to get my ducks in a row before I start weilding it as a tool.
From Anna: Please contact the ARC Outreach at hhulbert@vdn.com for details.
Comments:
From Anna: Yes. If you stop receiving them let me know.
C: Would like to be informed as to the current regional charity drives if any.
From Anna: He was audited by Matt for MC. He was not audited for his transfer. They are two separate audits. Thanks
C: I have just taken a new job which requires a long commute and which interfered with getting this month's report out on time. Also, due to the previously mentioned email issues, I may have lost member emails detailing their prestige worthy activities this month, so I cannot claim that this report is accurate. I will make changes and updates in next month's report. Thank you for your understanding and patience in regards to this issue.
From Anna: Backdates are allowed and encouraged when need be. Don’t trip.
From Anna: You have a lot of stuff going on. As for the transfer info please send whatever contact info you have to me and I will get it farmed out.
C: I am still awaiting documents from Scott's prior Coordinator, and per Liam, our DC's dictum, I will not include Scott in my reports until various information has been passed on. Thus, he does not appear below. We are still waiting on prestige from Comicon.
C: We
have a member transferring into the chapter, and two members transferring out.
Members are excited about the new Chronicle, and several members are working
towards making a cohesive history of
the city for the new game. Interest in forming a domain is still high, so
hopefully it will make our canned food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank a
success.
C: Shaun of the Dead is one of the greatest movies ever made.
C: I have added a lot of old prestige awards from other sources to the records took a large jump this month.
C: Welcome our new DC: Paul Hackett :)
C: Feedback for CA-060
–
No Remorse
Report looked fine to me.
Feedback for CA-046 –
Morbid Curiosity
Josh Rambo transferred to No Remorse in August, so you don't need to track him
anymore. Past that looks good.
C:
Please note that we no longer offer a Sabbat Venue.
Bryan Perryman was transferred to the domain and wishes to
remain an independent member with no Chapter affiliation. His prestige
will be logged on the domain report. Approved at National level.
C: Welcome to the least appreciated position in the world Chris.
Suggestions:
From Anna: What backlog?
S: Keep up the good work? J
