II. Summary of the Month:
Greetings SOUTH WEST!!!
Well we made it, one year down of my first term in office has been reached, and yes, I am STILL excited, honored, and proud to be your Regional Coordinator. We've gone through a lot of change and growth, but we've banded together and this Region is one of the most together and functional in the club. And it's all due to your tireless support and appreciation.
We hear at regional would like to thank each of you for giving your all to make us something to be proud of, every little bit helps and we hope that the time and effort you put into us is reflected back at you tenfold. We'd like to remind you that our doors remain open, and anyone who is interested in doing their part still, as always can.
We've got an interesting time ahead of us, as I write this it's only a mere month or so away from the most electrifying event in Gaming, ICC and I hope that you will all not pass up this amazing opportunity as it is on our very own backdoor.
Join your fellows and we chant "SOUTH WEST" and rock the end of the year as members of the most vibrant region in the world.

We have notified numerous coordinators and domain coordinators that they are not completing their reports properly. Time and time again we have offered them assistance with this issue and time and time again our offer for assistance has been rejected. This poses a problem for all members and needs to be addressed. The reports office hopes the new templates will help alleviate this issue however if it doesn’t we ask for some sort of repercussion for such a blatant disregard for following procedure and the disrespect of the coordinator offices. |

RPM: Charities, Finance,
and Outreach will be named by the end of the month. I intend to set up a
meeting with Charmain Hopkins and discuss things with Harold Hulbert and Paul
Hackett in the upcoming weeks to the end of making sure that everyone is on
the same page and is feeling fully supported. I am currently drafting a
Standard Operating Procedure and FAQ for the Administration aspect of the
region. |

From the RC: ●We would like to seek out someone willing and able to create documentation, procedures, methods and structure for the Charities Office of the Region. We would like more of a community service and charitable works done rather then just mere drives. Any member interested in such should contact us. |

●Welcoming submissions for the Regional Newsletter. ●Working on acquiring articles for the Regional Newsletter. ●Accepting submissions and nominations for chapter/domain highlights. |
|
Events Office |

|
●ICC 2005 – Oct 26-30 2005 – Phoenix AZ. ●SWRE 2006: Planning group has been created. Rowen Cota is adding bodies to the list and to the staff. Have a temp SWRE web site for comment available: http://www.titheofsouls.org/SWRE2006main.php ●Will be holding an open competition to design the actual logo for SWRE 2006. The winner will get a free admission to the event. ●WCRE 2007 – Both RC’s have agreed that they would like to combine their Regional Events into a single large scale event beginning in 2007. I have begun the process of organizing this for formal presentation to National. National must approve this event before actual planning can occur. From the RC: ●I would like to see a document created for the Regional Lists and for the Regional Website detailing how one can hold, sponsor and support Mini-Regional events, I have heard from many individuals that how one does this is a mystery to the general membership and I would like to see the Events Office develop something of a Guide for Domains to use to work as a roadmap.

Current projects include refining the SOP and writing a Prestige FAQ for the region. Of course, the queue is the main priority, and making sure that people who have been in the queue prior to the changing of the guard receive priority. Additional project: Compiling a list of all members in the region who are MC 9 or above. These projects are nearly complete. |

●Currently helping locate the ‘lost’ members of the SW Region in the CRD. ●Maintaining a spreadsheet of current coordinator information for all chapters and domains. ●Compiling a listing of venues for each chapter and domain as well as contact information so that the Technology Office can update and maintain the SW Region website. ●Created a new Coordinator & Domain Coordinator reporting template that utilizes the national template as well as additional information needed for the regional report. Will be released by September 25, 2005

Please send RPM Events a direct email for expedient response. 2] How will donation of funds to the Red Cross result in the awarding of National Prestige for the Katrina Relief Drive as proposed by the USNC? Please advise on amounts, ect.
From the RC: It is advised that you as Coordinator compile a Charities Report in regards to these functions and in conjunction with the steps listed in the announcement, it is then the Coordinators duty to keep an active file of activities and things performed (any receipts also should be kept, scanned or attached as appropriate. After such time this information should be appended to the Coordinator's report and thusly sent up the chain of command so that the National Office may reward those who have participated.

It's easy prestige! Comments:Received request from Harold Herbert to join BMK - audits and approvals received. Weighing the pros and cons in accepting him into the domain. DC received rise in MC class and National Prestige lock ADC Admin has been sent audits to review, pending finalization of reviews. Received Dan's logs from his CC, will review and forward for National lock (think he is ready). Need new ADCs to assist with growth of Domain. Will be posting this month for new positions.

Problems: I am trying to get a copy of Dustin Gwin's prestige log that was sent to regional for his MC 9 and 10. I did send e-mails to the RPM: Member Class Review and got no response back from them. Is there anyway I can get his log and he can be notified of his mc class approval? It did say in the RC report for May 05 that he was approved. From the RC: Double check your email address for the RPM: Member Review, submit another formal request, but CC myself and the ARC Administration (contact info above).
