II. Summary

Greetings South West!

Suffice to say that this month has not been as productive as I would like it to have been. Everything that could go wrong, did. From internet issues to personal life explosions, to … well, you name it. You all have my deepest apologies and my promise that the upcoming months will be much more productive and efficient.

Congames and Tinhare both appeared to enjoy success. Preparations are being made for a new Strategicon round and the prestige for the previous go at that event is being processed. The newsletters are going strong.

Prepare for some changes in the next month or so concerning the RC staff, as a few key officers are requesting to take a step back for personal reasons.

Problems: Many members were expired and still playing games. In some cases Domain level officers knew and did not say anything.

Response from the RC: Make sure that these expirations are true expirations and not just the issue with using the membership credit. If they are true expirations, remind said players that they cannot earn prestige while expired and should not be playing while expired because they cannot earn XP.

I need to get Chris DiAngelo up for an MC 11 audit and backdate tons of member's prestiege, could I get help on that?

2. We are continuing our work with the Domain of Myst (CA-051-D) to develop a number of "cross-domain" storylines. Our storytelling staff will be meeting again with other local ST's in our region to continue developing more storylines, particularly those that can increase continuity of history in the region. More updates to follow.

Response from the RC: I wish you success with it, and please let me know how it pans out. That would be a great thing to try and do on a regional level.

Problems: In various reports and on the CRD, our DST is listed as either Richard Johnson, or Jared Roberts, or not at all.

Currently our DST is Jake Jackson, and has been so since April. If this could be corrected, I think Jake would appreciate the credit for the great work he is doing as our DST.

Darren Baum US2004031332 currently has held the position of CC Rising Sun for 6 months, but has not passed his Test of Coordinator. I have told him he way past deadline for taking it, and will give him only until the end of

July to take it, and afterwards I will be forced to recommend his removal.

Response from the RC: In reverse order: I think that is more than generous as an extension. Please let Mr. Baum know that if he does not pass his test by the end of July, I will be forced to remove him from office per the Membership Handbook. All CRD issues should be taken care of over the next month or so.

I have been doing so, but I would like to know if you want them sent individually, or if a single report covering the missing months would be sufficient.
