Hello South West,
I got a few things I wanted to talk about.
List Moderation Prestige for Non-White Wolf/ Cam Lists.
If this is something you are doing and want prestige for it. Please send a monthly report to Corissa my ARC Technology. Prestige for doing this has to be awarded by an RC, not your local DC or CC. While yes the awards are general prestige, the award still needs to come from my office. This is straight out of the Membership Handbook's prestige guidelines.
FGoTM
Some of you might have noticed the NST has pointed out in his report that there hasn't been much traveling to FGoTM anymore. I'd love to hear from all of you as to the why. I know I don't go to as many anymore because I max out my over cap experience from just going to Conventions. But I go to a lot of those. How about all of you? Is it experience points, price of gas, it's too hot now? I want to know, if you want to tell me. We need to find a way to revitalize our FGoTM program. Feedback, positive or negative helps us change things. Plus I want to pass out more regional prestige for those FGoTM that go all out or have high attendance.
Global Surveys
When we have Global surveys out, please take a moment and take them. Your input helps the club adjust to its membership's needs, wants and concerns. Plus it's worth 5N to boot.
Charity Drives
We had 112 people donate to 2nd Harvest last month.
Which breaks down to:
48,400 pounds of food on-line
675 cans to local food banks
31 hours worked at local food banks
Over 3,000R will be awarded this month.
With those totals added to the last few months. I've been able to award over 15,000R as a result of all of your combined efforts for charity and that's just since January 2008. Let's see if we can hit 50,000 before my term is up, I think we can do it. My ARC Charities Sara Hart and I already have more charities planned for July-September and October-December.
Reporting on Time or Early
Please report on Time or Early if you can, aside from making my ARC Admin Sara very happy. CC/DC/VST/DST who report on time for three months straight will have 10 of their standard award converted into Regional by me. Some of you might have noticed that in the March and April reports. Also not only will this happen again at the sixth month mark. The NC awards 12N Exceptional Service to those who report on time for that long. Not reporting on time effects everyone from the bottom up. The longer it takes Chapter/Domain level officers to report the longer it can take Regional and National level officers to report. As Regional and National's information is based a lot on what we all do at the local level.
Prestige Auditing
It isn't just Rudy's job. It's the job of every member, Chapter coordinator and Domain Coordinator. The less effort that is put into auditing the log before it hits Rudy's desk. The longer it's going to take to get fixed, updated and awarded the next MC. This affects how long it will take Rudy and his sidekick Jared to get to the next one. If it's your first time reviewing a log and you have questions, please ask Rudy or myself. We're both more than happy to assist you. I'm on gchat for awhile most days or just send me an email. And if it's been over thirty days and you haven't gotten your log back. Send Rudy and I an email, you probably just slipped through the cracks.
Ordeals
Did you just join the Cam today, how'd you like to be MC 4 before the end of the month?! Go take all the ordeals and it will happen. The Cam awards you prestige for learning it's rules and your rights as a member, how cool is that? Have you been in the Cam for years, go take the Ordeals. 600G prestige is enough to jump most people up to their next MC level or at least close to it. Plus more Ordeals are on the way.
Regional and National Prestige Opportunities
I can't encourage you all enough to take advantage of any and all chances to earn Regional and National prestige. Sure right now you might not 'need' it for your current MC goal. But what about a year or so down the line? Now you're looking at getting MC 9+ awarded. Plus even if you don't need the Regional or National right this second, those numbers still add to your Prestige Totals. MC 2-8 prestige totals are all about how much you have earned not what kind it is. Personally I love all the work I've been able to do for the Cam. Aside from the personal satisfaction in doing a good job, donating to charity or helping a fellow Cam member out, I got prestige for it. You get what you put into this Club. If you work hard, you get to play hard. So if it's a Regional/National charity drive, newsletter submissions, plot or NPCs submitted to the RST/NST, or you find yourselves at a Convention. Donate those items, work those hours at Conventions. You'll meet some of the most interesting people and have fun while you're doing it too.

I was told that prestige is not put into the CRD, but since that function is there, why not?
Regional: that's a fair question, I don't specifically have an answer as to why not. Merely it isn't finished yet so we don't use it for prestige.
Problem from CA 069I
One of the players in our group
has had troubles with her temporary cam number. US2008011697T is the
number but it does not show in the CRD. I sent a letter to the techs
but have not received a reply. Did you email Sean Mooney memberservices@volunteer.white
SECOND MONTH***From ca 016 C
The CC, SpiderTeo, is currently subscribed to the us-sw-reports list to
upload reports and view the archive. However, upon entering the archives, he
is only able to see messages no later than February 2007. Is anyone else
having this problem? If no, then does anyone have any ideas of how to fix
this problem?
Regional: No it's not just
you, both Regional and the ANC Chapters are aware of this issue, it
has been mentioned to the ACD tech on more than one occasion, there
seems to not be a immediate solution… it's not just our list that's
affected by this, and no it's not cause the archiving feature… maybe
national can prod global for a solution to the lack of archiving that's
happening for the SW reports list.

1. We are still considering methods in which to gain monies for the
club. We are unsure what our limitations are on gaining money, and
what would constitute prestige worthiness.
2. Can the volunteer Cammie's gain prestige for their work at the
shop, if the owner is donating money directly into the Chapter fund?
Meaning, if the Cammie in question donates their time to help clean
and organize our gaming site, and the owner gives an hourly
compensation directly to the chapter for the intent of giving to the
fund, is this prestige worthy?
Sure it's called Site Clean

1.Archives in the SW Reports list does not go past Feburary 2007. Can this be fixed?
2. Can the name of the domain be changed or altered with out re-forming the domain? We have discussed wanting a "name" for our domain other than "The Domain of Salt Lake". What is needed if it can be done?

ARC Arbitration Projects:
Moved ahead on the Arbiration Database. Currently updating the spreadsheet as more Coordinators respond.
Viewed 1 mass complain, 2 individual complaints. Details to be found later in this report. (In part 3, with selected distribution)
I want to assemble a database of all Regional Arbitration issues, past and present. This will aid the ARC: Arbitration and the RC in investigating the history of the principals involved.
Update: Current issues that I am aware of have been archived. All Domain level Coordinators have been contacted. Only 3 have not responded.
ARC Independants Projects:
I am working this month on getting in contact with the members of the independent chapters that are folding.
ARC election Projects:
- updating excel tracking table.
- Contacting those Domains and Chapters the CRD says are in need of an election.
ARC Prestige Projects:
- I am continuing to use the Prestige Audit Queue. No additional comments or feedback at this time.
- Per Paul Hackett (SWRC) I am providing an update of the MC Award Archive (Listed in Section 9 of this Report).
- Pearce Dreadin (USNC) has noted as a reminder that members should do the following in the prestige log: Leave a blank line between each month. Use a separate line for each prestige subittmal/award (no bulk enteries). (Example: Maintained Game Site (20). Member should to submit as four (4) separate enteries or add the date for each time site was maintained).
- Please do not beat-up the auditors... they are merely following the rules. Thank you!
