Summary

Hello
South West,
If you
didn't make it to SWaRE you missed out and I'm not talking about the heat. We
were able to raise 12,500.00 for charity. We totally blew out the last SWaRE
when we raised 5,000. So we all owe a big thanks to our ARC Charity for
hounding the ST staff all the way up to Global to give us cool stuff to auction
off, not to mention all the excellent stuff our members donated. IC and OOC. We
had swords, MC 12 minions, devotions, bloodlines, legacies, magic items, lions,
tigers and bears oh my.
We had
enough volunteer time that I am awarding over 5,500R for SWaRE for all the hard
work everyone did, so that we could all have a good time. The NCA is still
reviewing the awards. But IÕve included what I know about in this report.
Just a
small note for how much charity you all have done during the last seven months
not including everyoneÕs efforts at SWaRE 2008.
Jan-March
2008 For Hugs Across America I was able to award 8000R ThatÕs 1600 Teddy Bears
April-June
2008 For 2nd Harvest Food Bank I was able to award 12329R Over
148,000 pounds of food, 3000+ cans, and 50 hours of labor
And Just
for July 2008 3075R ThatÕs 2850 trees planted, 45 hours of labor
Which
brings us to 23404R awarded as direct result of our RegionÕs Charity Drives.
IÕd like
to thank the 77 members who took my survey. Your feedback was greatly
appreciated. We had 60 people vote for me to stay 14 to step down and 3
indifferent. So I sent my application to our USNC to remain SWRC until the end
of my term.
Just
something IÕve been noticing with prestige reviews. Make sure you put your
current information in your logs. Like your CC or DCÕs current email not to
mention your own. Make sure youÕre putting the actual links for prestige awards
not just the search engine link. Any questions email myself or Rudy. The USNC
site has a document that goes over Prestige Auditing. After going to the USNC
site click the link for Documents. ItÕs titled Prestige Review Guidelines if
you would like to look at it.
Updates
to our SW Regional Website. IÕm currently working on getting our ARC Tech
proper access to it so she can upload all the stuff sheÕs been working on. If
this doesnÕt work another website is already in place that weÕll be able to use
it instead, which at this point looks like whatÕs going to be happening.
As a
note there was a mistake in the SWRC Report for June. All the ARC and DC/Indy
CC prestige was listed as May it should have read for June. Sorry about that.
List
Mod prestige. Please note a DC doesnÕt get List Mod prestige for being the
moderator for their Domain list. ItÕs part of the job, kind of like itÕs my job
to moderate the SW OOC list.
Just incase
it needs saying any ARC who listed prestige nominations for other members that
are listed in their areas of this report please consider those awards valid and
approved by me.
And as a
nice added bonus this month. Anthony our acting RST was able to give me the
awards for our ARSTs, AARSTs and some ST support. Not to mention Three and Six
month on time reporting for several of our storytellers. Go Team!

Arbitration Projects:
Moved
ahead on the Arbitration Database. Currently updating the spreadsheet as
more Coordinators respond.
Viewed
1 mass complain, 2 individual complaints. Details to be found later in
this report. (In part 3, with selected distribution)
I
want to assemble a database of all Regional Arbitration issues, past and
present. This will aid the ARC: Arbitration and the RC in investigating
the history of the principals involved.
Update:
Current issues that I am aware of have been archived. All Domain level
Coordinators have been contacted. Only 3 have not responded.

chapters that are folding.

I
am continuing to use the Prestige Audit Queue. No additional comments or
feedback at this time.
- Per Paul Hackett (SWRC) I
am providing an update of the MC Award Archive (Listed in Section 9 of this
Report).
- Pearce Dreadin (USNC) has
noted as a reminder that members should do the following in the prestige
log: Leave a blank line between each month. Use a separate line for
each prestige subittmal/award (no bulk enteries). (Example: Maintained Game
Site (20). Member should to submit as four (4) separate enteries or add
the date for each time site was maintained).
- Due to an increased volume
of work and family issues, my ability to complete audits has been hampered this
month. Paul Hackett (SWRC) has agreed to perform audits so pending audits
in the queue can be completed in time for SWRE. My apologies for the
delays.
- Also noting problem with
e-mail bounces. I believe these have since been remedied. Again,
sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
