II. Summary

Well the planning for SoCon is well under way, so look forward to more calls for volunteers as well as more information. The website should be up and running soon. Its going to be at the Ontario Mariott, in Ontario California the weekend of October 2nd, so mark your calendars.
Regional Charity donations seem to be a bit low, if you have any recommendations for charities or ideas of how to help boost the numbers please email it to the aRC Charities, sw.arc.charity@gmail.com.
Look forward to a new edition of the Newsletter, not sure exactly which month it’ll come out it, but I’m excited to be working with SpiderTeo to get it up and running again.
Lastly, just as a reminder, I am due to have a baby any day now, so if I’m out of communication for a couple of days don’t be alarmed. I’ll be back online as soon as I’m home from the hospital.

Questions: We would ask that summit county be officially added to the counties supported by our domain. it is immediately to our east an does not host any independent chapters.
From CA 056 D
Problems/Solutions: The independent chapter of CA-074-I, City of
Ashes, has decided to rejoin the Strange Bedfellows domain, so all the
players in that domain need email the RC with their most currest
prestige log. Update: Still waiting.
SWRC: There have been no official requests sent by the individual members themselves for transfer. Once those requests are received I am more then happy to begin the transfer process.

Ongoing: in talks with getting the google calendar started...and implemented.
Started trying to collect some dates...will hope to contact other DCs soon.
I am welcome to other submitting to me sooner if they want to contact me on their own.
ARC Mentorship/Outreach
Summary: I took a couple months off to complete out my DC position and a quick break. So far we have only had one person take part on the mentorship drive. With the lack of promotion, I am not surprised. Free speaking to various members, seems the opinion of maintaining/mentoring existing members may be a better investment at this time. With the post to the coordinators list, I did recieve one comment that people were frustrated with the highest level of the club. I did receive some suggestions for creating a stronger local club to off set frustration with the overall club.
Projects:
1.I am going to talk to all of the DCs and see if I can get a Mentor in their local domain to work with me. The goal is to not only set up stewardships with the rp aspect of the club but showing the ins and outs of the club and its resources. I am looking to have these mentors be the "welcome wagon" and send follow up emails to new comers and existing members that don't show for awhile. If I am unable to get the DC's to bring forward a candidate, I may open up a project team for this giving half open/half regional with your approval. As a suggestion, the average month of high activity would be 10G 10R.
2. Follow up surveys built after Jared's example should be sent out to members who have not renewed after three months of being expired. The goals is to a)find out the reason for expiration of membership for data b) let expired member know we are recognizing issues. c) catch CRD issues
