April has been an interesting month. I’m very happy to see the outpouring
of charities that seems to be coming from Region. Remember that you are
more then welcome to send suggestions to the aRC Charities about future
charities you’d like to see us support.
Otherwise, we’re gearing up for SWRE, which should be a blast! If you’ve
got any topics of conversation you’d like addressed at the Regional meeting,
keep them in mind, you can also email them to me.
Prestige audits are going well, and hopefully we’ll be able to knock out the
ones in the que in plenty of time for SWRE.

"Just a reminder that I'm back on the job, which means problems with
renewing your membership are once again being handled. Pretty quick,
even. If you have any trouble at all with getting your renewal to go
through, or an issue with getting your old Cam number to work, or
having two Cam numbers, or anything like that, please put it into the
bug tracker:

ARC admin: As far as I am aware, it has been sent to national, beyond that…
*SWRC: This log as been returned to the member for corrections and
additions. Waiting on the member before sending it to National.*

Questions:
1. Who would I talk to about updating the Regional Charity information on
the White Wolf Camwiki site?
ARC Admin: the Arc Charities? (it is a wiki, you could do it yourself in
theory), I think there’s a over all regional charity information wikipage
(set up by one of the various arc charities)
2. Where would I be able to find an updated link to the National Coordinator
reports?
Arc admin: It would be posted to the usnc website. However I do not believe
any of the 2010 reports have been posted to date, and so far only the jan
and feb reports have been posted to either uscamarilla-ooc, or general-ooc,
or usannounce. (It’s handy me being on the ANC staff isn’t it)
*SWRC: The National reports haven’t been updated to the website yet,
however, if the need is for a verification you can reference a report
directly by using the following format*

Problems: It has come to my attention that we’re missing a lot of old
reports for both the domain, and some of the chapters in our files section
of the domain yahoo group. This combined with several long term members not
having their prestige log (due to computer error or human error) has led to
problems trying to rebuild logs. I have emailed the ARC Prestige to try to
either pull out old reports, or figure out a solution that doesn’t strip
older prestige away from our members. I know they’ve done a lot of work with
the club, I’d hate to punish them because we’ve had times where the domain
was in turmoil.
ARC Admin: If they are reports that are from before the list archives start
(feb/march 06), you would need to contact Jim Blaylock US ANC Chapters,
Us.cam.anc.chapters@gmail.com, he should have archives of any reports that
were properly filed. (Although I’m a little sketchy on how full his archives
are for 05 and parts of 06 and 04, he should have most everything.)
*SWRC: Backdating prestige is also acceptable. Anything over three months
will need to be approved at Regional and anything older then six months will
need to approved by Regional and then approved by National. You are more
then welcome to compile the older then 3 months prestige into a separate
document to send to Regional, which I will then send to National once
approved.*
Also, in reviewing previous domain reports, I noticed there were no awards
listed for any of the ADC’s. Two of them are in my chapter and I’ve been
told via email by the DC that they are earning prestige, but it hasn’t been
reported. Expect some backdating in the near future.
ARC Admin, anything backdated more than 3 months, needs to be approved by
regional, up to 3 months the current DC is allowed to award/handle.
Questions: If a member can not physically be at a domain/organizational
meeting, but participates in the meeting in real time through
phone/texts/im, can the telecommuter be awarded prestige for attending the
meeting?

Comments: Sorry this report is late, but my Mom got married on the first and

Arc Admin: Awesome
Apparently Tess McDermot was a domain member not a chapter member, so she
has been removed from the report. While digging through old reports I found
that prestige awarded on the DC report wasn’t being included in the chapter
reports, and so member totals are all sorts of out of whack. I will be
adjusting them as I complete members logs.
Arc admin: That’s fine, and hopefully you mean complete members log audits,
not doing their logs for them. From personal experience, that’s going to
cause someone a world of paperwork nightmare later. J
